Tea Time Café — Restaurant in England

First time I had been in, and came with my mother. We both had a coffee, sandwich, and a bowl of chips. The mocha that I had was just amazing, and just the right size. I had the ham and piccalilli on white. Which came with a lovely salad (delicious dressing - I should have asked what it was!) And crisps. The chips were piping hot and just amazing - I honestly could have eaten my body weight.

The staff were very friendly and the service was prompt and nothing seemed too much trouble.

I think I may have found the new place for me to go and take my family when we're all in Thirsk together.

Great tasting food, freshly made but the premises (for me) lacked atmosphere. I wouldn't call it a cosy cafe but the prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The menu is just large enough to give you a good choice of both food and drink with some quirky items not seen elsewhere which makes for a nice change. Staff were polite and did what was necessary to serve. Little in the way of friendly smiles (which we like) or enthusiasm. Worth a visit?
