Loco Nantwich — Restaurant in England

First visit I went with my partner and child during half term. The restaurant only had three tables including ours, so it was very quiet for a lunch time service so we expected quick service.. We only ordered three mains and a side of garlic bread. it took over 45minutes to get the food. Unfortunately after having high hopes for the meal, it really wasn't amazing for the wait. Chicken in the tacos was dry and burnt, not much flavour at all… cheese on the garlic bread was burnt and the bread was hard. Partner wasn’t overly keen on his burger and pretty much left it. We were running late after having to wait so long so we couldn’t be bothered to complain. But unfortunately after this we won’t return. Such a shame as it could have been...

Another lovely spontaneous visit to Loco, this time on a Friday evening, 'early doors'. It was great to see people popping in for a cocktail before moving on, as well as those dining. Again the food was delicious and we were wonderfully looked after by Sam, Ben and Elise this time. The staff here are a huge asset: friendly, efficient and ever-helpful, without ever being intrusive. I'm not sure of the chef's name, but they deserve mention too!

One day we will get to sample dessert, but we've not managed it yet, as we hate to leave good food and struggle to stop eating when we're full!

Friday night cocktail and dinner ner with friends. First time I've visited here, it was previously home to Firenze Italian. This is a great addition to Nantwich Eateries, especially since Chester Mexican Chinese is limited (but check out Death by Tacos) . Food prices were reasonable and portions were good, with fresh ingredients as far as I could tell. Highly recommend. Really nice selection of cocktails.
