Nantwich riverside loop is a great walk. Round the lake and then down to water lode. There is a great beach for the dog to cool off and a weir too where kingfishers can often be seen flashing past skreeching as they go. The walk takes you within 50 MTRS if the town centre so a coffee and cake can be enjoyed in town. Plenty of benches along the way for a sit if required .

A very easy, flat and pleasant walk mostly on pathways along the River Weaver, through pasturing fields , over a train line (watch out for on coming trains) then along the Shropshire canal. Not much shade on a hot day though. No shops or toilet stops along the way as the walk starts just outside the town centre.

Pleasant walk along the river going away from the town centre at Henshall's way car park towards the lake. Path easy underfoot, and well kept. Car park quite full when we went. Saw Mallard Ducks, Canada Geese, and Swans, all with their young. Lovely to see.
