Used to enjoy visiting the Deli. Gus was always wonderful. Sadly our lasagne’s recently were horrid .. no cheese sauce, thick stoggy pasta, no flavour other than tomato and less than a tablespoon of meat added to the entire portion. I know that times are tough, but at £6.50 serve, this is more than disappointing and certainly not with near the price. Furthermore, it was horrifying to hear how the women who helps with the running of the business spoke to the lovely Polish lady who works there. Read moreLombardo has been there for quite some time now, and this was the folkestone time we have ever been. It isn't a big tea room, it is just enough to have half a dozen tables inside, this I find very good so it isn't over crowded, there is seating outside as well if you wish. The selection of Italian cakes and food is very good and was also very tasty. Now we have been, we will be going back again next time we are in Dunstable. Read moreBeen there only once, and while I want to give them 5 stars, they do not allow dogs inside which is a shame - that said, they did offer to put up a table outside on the side walk (which works when the weather is nice); besides, amazing Italian groceries and fresh produce....got a gigantic lemon that tasted unreal and unlike any other lemon I ever had (so good!!) and some fennel and had coffees to go....will DEFINITELY be back!
