Massey's Tea Room — Restaurant in England

Excellent gluten free options. Friendly welcoming helpful staff. I now plan bike rides and walks around whether I can happen to be near Corbridge when they are open. Things to know: they have a fully gluten free cream tea they can make that gf cream tea low dairy if you ask the filter coffee is bottomless.. maybe don't get carried away with this and then plan to cycle back to Newcastle with no further stops the bathroom is upstairs I don't believe the premises are wheelchair accessible. Certainly the main entrance is a narrow doorway with a small step due to the nature of buildings in Corbridge similarly you can't park outside (very narrow roads) but would need to walk from the square or do a hover drop off and hope the person behind you in the one way...

Beautiful tearoom. Lovely food. Rude staff member. Ordered with a woman resembling Mrs . Overall never made eye contact Took my order for sandwiches and drinks I also ask for a scone to come after I had eaten my sandwich as I wanted it warm So that seemed fine and she took the order. Food came with the scone then as we were eating she switched the lights out and closed the windows even though it was incredibly close and warm so so rude she was obviously keen to get home and we left before it closed. Good food spoilt by offensive rude behaviour. My recommendation is to find a job you like maybe not involving paying customers !! Or take a course in customer care if learn some basic...

Excellent service from what I have made out to be a kind attentive staff , food choice is limited but it is a tea room , coffee is fantastic and the food on the menu sounds lush , simple yet effective , I had the mature chedder cheese and home cooked ham panini with a side salad while my partner had the brie bacon and cranberry panini with crisps on the side , very reasonable prices very good food and a clean warm inviting atmosphere .. In all an excellent food experience ... 10/10 , nearly forgot to add this bit , they also have a gluten free and children's menu which increases the...
