I ordered from this store via JustEat. 1 hour after ordering my food, I hadn’t received any sort of update other than what was displayed on the JustEat app, which said “ Preparing your order, your courier is waiting at the restaurant “. I assumed that maybe the store was just really busy so I was happy to remain patient. Another hour passes and I still haven’t received my food or any update. I had to chase the store, and was met with a colleague who’s customer service was shocking. She told us that we won’t be receiving our food as they are having trouble with JustEat drivers. We were told to just call JustEat and they will sort it. We contacted JustEat but had to wait for a response as it was via their app. We ordered food from somewhere else as we were clearly not getting the food we had ordered from this store. An hour later, so 3 hours after I made the original order, the JustEat app updates and says that this store are again, preparing our food. Obviously I’d already eaten by now, but was happy to take the food that I had ordered.
The food arrives, and it is all stone cold. The milkshake was warm, the chips were soggy etc. It was quite obvious to me that this was the food we ordered 3 hours ago, that had clearly been sat on the side to go cold. I called the store and asked to speak to a Manager. A lady comes on the phone. I explained politely that I’d spoken to them an hour prior to ask where my order was, and the food was eventually sent out to me. However I wasn’t happy atall with the food that I had received, I explained that I believed the food I’d been sent, was the food that I was meant to receive 3 hours ago.
All I got in response to my explanation, was this Manager telling me I needed to contact JustEat again. This problem wasn’t with JustEat, it was with the food that the store themselves had provided me with. When I explained to this Manager a second time that I believed the food sent to me was from 3 hours ago as it was stone cold and inedible, she simply hangs up the phone on me.
Absolutely disgusting service, no accountability or apology. I would be ashamed to have Managers like this representing your business in stores. I work in Customer Service as a Manager and I wouldn’t dare treat any of my customers the way I’ve been...
Read moreI went to pick up my order at McDonalds drive through using the app, on Barrack road. We were initially given the wrong drinks and then the wrong food I informed the guy serving us, he apologied and asked us what we had ordered as he could not see it. I gave them my phone to remake our order as our order had been given to another car.After 15 minutes we’d then received our order and looked through and noticed we were missing two lots of mozzarella dippers and a double cheese burger this was a customised order (which was wrong again) we then had to go around again with our food starting to get cold and wait for the missing items, I informed them that on three occasions at this McDonald’s I have had issues. I went home with my order and was also missing the McSpicy. We ordered a big Mac no lettuce extra Big Mac sauce, we were given Big Mac sauce and bbq sauce. By this point after going round twice and the food basically cold, I could not be bothered to go round a third time. Read morePopped into McDonald's to pick up some food 4 boxes of nuggets and 2 happy meals paid on card and get to the next window. greeted by a rely polite worker she's no more then 20 years old.
With my order I asked for 20 sources 5 per box. The the shift manager comes over and takes the bag of sources slams it on the table tells the young girl off and starts to argue with me about the amount of sources she's aloud to give out I said mate my orders nearly £30.
He's there laughing at me thinking it's all fun and games. I requested a refund he's said no after 15 mins of arguing I give him back the food and finally get a refund it makes me think I serve in the British Army for what so people like this can Argue over how many 11p sources you can give out.
The amount of service personnel that stop and eat at these place join commutes home from camp to courses etc to be greeted by an idiot like this. Who would not last 15 mins doing my job.
If any one from the store reads this you need to speak to the shift manager. Reference how he speaks to his team members and customers.
