McDonald's — Restaurant in England

I went to this McDonald's at around 5pm on a Tuesday evening.

It was full to the brim. I had to make my way past a large group of delivery men. They took up most of the area around the counter and the order screens.

The waiting area was worse. It was very noisy. The delivery people were shouting to each other in some foreign language. It was deafening!

It was very dirty, too. There was nowhere to go to avoid it all.

The toilets were disgusting! They were filthy! There was a nasty smell of urine every time someone opened the door to the corridor there.

My kids had ordered the burgers on the app and they were paid for, or I wouldn't have waited.

I took my order and I got out of there. Outside I gulped fresher air.

The car park was full of delivery people sitting on mopeds. They were all shouting too.

We went to our car. There was no way that we could eat inside. We opened the bag to find 4 burgers. All cold. All wrong. Not one of them was what we had ordered.

I thought that we might have accidentally taken the wrong bag. The labels on the burgers were right though. The food inside was wrong.

Instead of a Chicken Mayo there was a cheese burger. A Big Mack was a fish thing.

If I could give this a minus score, I would. There are other mcdonald's in that area. Maybe they'll be better. I won't be going back...

It was bad enough that the delivery men were all blocking the counter arguing (really doesn't make me feel welcome at all), but then an elderly member of staff in a Christmas jumper, cleaning the floor, walked past the group insulting them, before looking around at customers and saying "I stand by what she said". She then proceeded to talk, whilst cleaning, about how the staff can't do their job properly (referencing putting items in wrong boxes), as well as bombs in envelopes (yes you read that right), to a customer, whilst stood nearby. It was incredibly awkward to hear and made my partner especially feel rather uncomfortable. The drivers do ruin the atmosphere, they are mostly always rude and they treat the staff unfairly, but such comments are not acceptable and hardly make customers want to come back. I would like to mention that there were two other members of staff (male and female) that are worth mentioning, though for positive reasons. The way they carried themselves, I would assume they are of a higher position, but both were kind and courteous, setting an example for how...

Second I entered the restaurant, the staff noticed I was in my wheelchair. They asked if we were dining inside replied with a yes! THEY got me the closest table showed me on how to choose menu. The milkshakes were unavailable same with raspberry latte. So had a million latte middle son had a caramel latte, and my youngest son he enjoyed a sprite zero!! Ordered a happy meal for my likkle fella. And me and my middle man enjoyed a quarter cheese pounder. Including a Mars Mcflurry as an extra treat. Only problem was that they didn't accept the vouchers, a staff member did explain if you keep your receipts go online to there website type the receipt number in than you answer few questions, you'll receive the opportunity for use of vouchers!!! Staff where EXCELLENT they're POLITE and also very UNDERSTANDING. Just would like 2say a personal thankyou for helping myself and my bains in having a comfortable funny meal. My youngest lad played on the tablets whilst enjoying his happy meal! We would like to say THANK YOU DEARLY FOR MAKING OUR VISIT A WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE WITH LOTS OF SMILES...
