On two occasions now since opening only recently they have forgotten to put the ‘main’ part of one of our meals in the bags, as well as sauces. We shouldn’t have to check that every single item is there. I could understand if they were busy periods but on both occasions it has been incredibly quiet. It’s really not that hard to read a screen and double check that everything is in the bag. On top of that, upon us complaining, the manager has been nothing but miserable & down right useless.
Some of the team are lovely, as mentioned below, but by Christ some of them need a boot up the a*. Especially the management, it seems.

Went down on our way home late tonight and they were incredibly short staffed. Extremely long wait, but couldn’t be more happy with the service we received from Erin. She was running around like a blue-arsed fly, clearly doing her utmost & was so so polite. She offered many types of compensation for our wait, and when we politely declined she genuinely seemed shocked. She was incredibly grateful for our patience & we’re just happy we could improve what seemed to be a very stressful late shift for her.

Whether there are two or twenty orders, you will wait 20-40 minutes for your order. Always go through the drive thru, this is prioritised, but when you use the drive thru, you’ll get half a portion of fries or there is something wrong/cold. The staff I must stress, are NOT the fault, the poor guys look run ragged. The restaurant is dirty, cold and full of angry people waiting, waiting, waiting… this doesn’t make you want to sit in. I’m so sick of it, I’d rather drive all the way to Prudhoe just to get value for money. A giant corporation like McDonalds should be ashamed of themselves, letting the staff take the crap they do because maybe there is not enough of them or they are maybe not trained enough, who knows. If you can’t get the staff, then why, maybe because they are faced with this scenario. It’s worse than Westerhope and that is saying something. Weaterhope will record your order as ready and you’ll still wait 20 mins after that, just so their stats are OK. McDonald’s need to intervene but they won’t because it’s probably owned by...

Frequently wrong orders, missing items, very long waits and if drive through never, ever take the right lane, on 4 occasions now I have waited for someone to take my order whilst the left lane merrily serves customers who arrive after you do. 90% of the time, you have to park and wait for the drive thru usually because they have run out of fries. They then forget you are waiting and serve the fresh fries to others, then when you eventually get your order, the other items are atone cold. Napkins are NEVER added to the bag by default, there are never any milkshakes on, and whether your fries have salt on them is a lottery. Worse, when errors are made there is never an apology, and the error is remedied grudgingly. The only reason why they are still in business is they have a monopoly on such food in the area. Hopeless, utterly hopeless, and the issues have been with the management amd leadership at the branch since it first opened.
