Wouldn’t even give 1 star – shocking service

Ordered through OrderYoyo on Sunday for collection – not even delivery – but the takeaway never confirmed the order. I called them, and they claimed they don’t use that service and told me to contact OrderYoyo to cancel. My partner even showed them screenshots, and they had no idea what was going on. So we gave up and ordered from somewhere else.

While we were eating the new food, the takeaway called back saying they could now see the order. I asked them to cancel it, and was told “I’ll try.” I’d already emailed OrderYoyo (the only contact option I could find), and 2 days later they replied saying the order had been accepted. At this point, we hadn’t received anything – but they had taken the money.

I tried to get help again, and OrderYoyo said they’d reach out to the takeaway but then told me I should call them instead, as it would be “quicker” – sorry, but isn’t that your job?

The takeaway then claimed the person I spoke to didn’t work Sundays, then changed his mind and said Monday – all very confusing. Eventually, after chasing again, they said we could have a cash refund. When my partner went in, the exact same person we spoke to on Sunday was there, so clearly they knew about it all along.

We did get the refund – but they gave us 6p less (not the point, but still cheeky). Start to finish, this whole thing was a joke. Horrendous service from both the takeaway and OrderYoyo. I wouldn’t even rate this one star. Avoid...

Unfortunately I can't put less than 1 star... It isn't worth any stars. I placed an order at 6:45pm it got to 7:45 so I gave them a call they said our delivery was on the way so I just waited it then got to 8:30 I gave them another call I got the same response I asked for a REFUND since it is completely UNACCEPTABLE to wait that long for a takeaway when it's literally not even a 10 minute drive, they REFUSED the refund. They gave the excuse of they have contacted the driver but didn't know where the driver was or how far away ( this is now nearly 2 HOURS after I placed the order). It is now 9:50pm and still nothing even tho at 8:30 when I called for the second time they said it would be 10 minutes..... ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Every time we have ordered from this place something goes WRONG, something is MISSING from our order, our order is WRONG or it's a lot LATER than the predicted time. I will never order from this place again the only thing they have going for them is that it is somewhat "decent"food... That is if you actually...

The food tastes fantastic, however I'm not happy with how it is delivered. Once a driver forgot 2 items on my order list, the other time a paper bag split and chilli sauce spilled all over my £200 carpet. It's going to cost me a fortune to get my carpet cleaned. The staff in the kitchen should tape the lids shut on the sauces and use more plastic bags as the new paper bags are not strong enough to hold such heavy items. Apart from that, I absolutely love their food, their chicken is tasty and so are their curly fries and ice creams so I'm giving the restaurant at least 3 stars for the food...
