We found this restaurant awful We had a table booked But when we got there was a queue out the door it was chaos I seen people walking straight in so I made my way through the queue A d approach the woman that was Standing taking names She came at me like steam roller When I said we had booked all she kept saying was You pay ,you pay,you pay, you pay I was dumb founded She was extremely rude The noise was horrendous And I Tried to say we were meeting other people here And she carried on shouting You pay ,you pay ,you pay if it hadn't been a birthday meal I would of walked out there and d then I made my way to the bar to pay and didn't hear what the lady said so I put my card in the machine stupidly thinking it was OK only to find that when I sat down I had been over charged But to give the lady on the desk benefit of the don't she refunded me But cheeky so and so offered me a voucher to come back rather than refund my card I said no I want the money back And she didn't argue with it When I got to the table where my friends were The first woman followed me over and started telling us to hurry up and eat I want table Well how I didn't blow a fuse is a miracle When we did get food it was warm not hot and it was pretty tasteless And the drinks were warm we will never return The woman at the desk I think was the manager and she really needs some training on people...

REALLY DISAPPOINTED! After eating here several times before and never having an issue, this evening we were greeted by the most unprofessional manager I've ever experienced. The staff are always so accommodating and friendly and we've never experienced a problem in the past but this evening, the manager was so rude when we arrived at our booked table. Our 3 year-old had been to a party so just eaten so was not eating with us this evening, but because we bought her a fruit shoot we were very aggreively told numerous times by the manager that she WAS NOT TO EAT A THING! We know this, hence why we didn't include paying the measly amount of £6 for her. She was full from party food so would not have eaten with us. Its not the fact we were told this information, it's the way it was said over and over again in a really rude manner. We decided to get a refund and abruptly left with said manager informing us she didn't care as she'll make plenty of money this evening as they were busy enough without our custom so we are now continuing our evening in the Hubbox where the staff couldn't be more accommodating amd welcoming. Safe to say we will NEVER RETURN to this restaurant. Such a shame as the food smelt great and the rest of the staff are so lovely and were clearly embarrassed by this woman's abruptness and rudeness towards us! Awful customer care from...

Went for a 4 seater meal tonight at 5pm, table 33a. Got the first round of plates back to the table and as we were tucking in I cut the satay chicken open to find it completely raw inside. Pointing this out to a member of waiting staff who then confusing asked "really?" He then had to go to a member of bar staff, who told him to speak with the manager. The manager then came over to the table and inspected the 2 pieces of chicken on a napkin at the table and confirmed them to be raw, as a result they went back to the kitchen, I'm unable to confirm if the tray was removed from the buffet but should have been due to cross contamination. We were given a free round of drinks (soft) but were completely put off by the rest of the food after (tastless) and staff (miserable looking) and atmosphere (dull and gloomy.) Since we have gotten home two of our party- my partner and myself and been ill. Will never be going back as a result of this experience and advise others to avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs. For the prices this buffet charges you can get high quality meals in Taunton. *Edit after a very uneasy nights sleep and reading other review about raw dishes and cross contamination likes bugs I have taken it upon myself so report this place to the food standards agency as their is not possible way this place can have its 5 rating...
