Nice but cold… Arrived and was seated the furthest point from the bar in an area that was single glazed and freezing!! I appreciate in the summer it is probably lovely, however in 4 degree weather there needs to be an alternative heating solution. I was asked whilst being seated “do you know what you want to drink or do you want me to come back” naturally I asked for a few minutes. 20 minutes later I was asked am I ready to order now. Food came, we had eggs royale and avocado on toast with poached eggs. Eggs royale was pretty average, but the avocado meal was really good!! Coffees came promptly and were aesthetically lovely and tasted great! Overall a bit pricey, very cold in the winter (unless close to the bar), brilliant atmosphere, great food and definitely would return!

Nice place to stop off for a coffee to meet up with friends. Order at the bar for everything, so not really much of a service. The food was expensive for what it was, l asked for loaded Fries instead of just Fries and was informed that will be extra and l accepted that but to be honest they were not worth the money extra dollops of cheese and a few bits of bacon on top are not loaded Fries, just look at the Brownie not sharing that! It's dog friendly well dogs allowed in certain areas which is understandable, no water bowl provided. So nice place to meet friend's for a chat and coffee and cake.

Accommodating staff leads to a lovely meal, we'll be back! The food service side was full up on this particular day, but the bar staff was willing and had us sit in their side to be served. The atmosphere was a good mix of appealing energy with just a little of home like cozy. As for the food, it was delicious! The tapas variety is a great bit tbh, you can choose a few to share and they are good size. The parmesan tossed chips were hugely moreish and the eggs royal was a rich feeling brunch along side our tapas. It was a great visit and stop in!

Lunch today with 10 yr old granddaughter and my husband…… a sadly depressing experience not to be repeated! We hadn’t booked so we’re told we had to sit in the bar, meaning one of us at 80 had to perch on a high stool! Fine…..except of the apparently reserved tables, which were empty but uncleared, one suddenly became available to us when I heard it being offered to someone else! So far, so better….. But having ordered, and then told that two of our orders were unavailable, we had to wait for over 45 minutes for our food, with a very hungry grandchild….. and grandparents! During this time the woman at the table sitting next to us who was already there when we sat down, left saying she’d waited long enough. I mentioned this to the manager as we paid, and he seemed entirely unmoved, albeit perfectly charming to us. This would seem to tally with similar experiences of other people leaving in despair after waiting too long…..(reviews). When we finally got our food, two meals were acceptable but underwhelming and poor value. My chicken burger, (extra chips…..chips not included with the burger?! Unusual and penny pinching), was even more bad value….. to be honest, I was quite shocked! I ordered a portion of chips…. they were very nice chips…. as so they should be, as I worked out that they cost approximately 50p per chip……chipflation?!, Didn’t know that was a thing…… my granddaughter said ‘Granny, is that all the chips you get?’!, We mentioned everything very politely to the manager, and he charmingly removed the service charge, but at the same time appearing to be immune to the criticism we we levelling at The...

My self and an elderly friend in her 80"s arrived with great enthusiasm for a breakfast treat.

We were abruptly received by a young lady barking at us, asking " Are you here for coffee or breakfast"

We were then sat at a table with deck chairs, my elderly friend could not get in one easily or out of one easily.... Sure great for youngsters.

We moved to a vacated table, happy to wait for it to be cleared but when I leaned on the table , the table was so unstable evertyhung fell over , making a mess with water spillage. Table was rectified with cardboard placed under the leg of the table!

The table to the right of us asked for sauce and had nearly finished his breakfast time it came and the lady to the left was served a cold coffee. We waited for jam.

The Kurt service continued.

I wanted to walk out after 5 minutes, my friend couldn't walk any more, so stayed and I just had chips which were meant to be chunky chips and were french fies but this was rectified.

When the industry is so tuff i was shocked at the, take it or leave it ,attitude.

We watched other customers go out of a near by door and when we went to go out of it ,were barked at again, telling us ,it was a fire door, with no notice that we could see or others could see.

Also very unprofessional to talk about customers negatively in the bar area.

I do hope it was just a bad day because both the girls were seriously unhappy in their work. May be short staffed. it was not busy but everything took ages, which is why we asked for our bill before we...

Ordered drinks which came after a long wait, so much of a wait that we ordered our food before our drinks came to the table. After our drinks arrived, our order placed, we waited 45 mins for some slices or bread which on the menu said “whipped butter” which was just slightly salted butter nothing whipped about it. After we had demolished the bread as both me and my partner were starving we waited at least an hour for our mains. A group 6 women behind us also complained about the time it took for food. My partner, pasta, and myself rack of lamb. My partners pasta was bland and had nothing substantial. My rack of lamb, fatty and nothing special. For £22 was not worth it. The women behind had also complained about their slow service of food and quality of the dishes they received. However, our server a Ukrainian women, was lovely, attentive, and understood or problems with our anniversary meal. Another gentleman with glasses, helped a lot when coming over to meal check. We explained our issues with the food and how we were dissatisfied however starving. He proceeded to tell his manager who then comped our mains and few drinks we had. The problem I think is BOH and mainly the kitchen in this new establishment, the servers were all lovely lovely just feel they needed more training especially with speed of service with drinks etc. thank you to our servers, the mentioned above but unfortunately experience was ruined by food from the kitchen and speed of...
