Been here with my Mum several times.* Came in for lunch with family today; myself, I ordered a Tuna and Cucumber Sandwich with a Mocha.
Pros: The food (especially the muffins, which can be warmed up on request) is generally very lovely. Additionally, when me and my Mum used to come here often (more on that in a bit), the friendly male barista knew us so well that he would (without fail) remember what both me and Mum would usually order each time we stepped in, and would start preparing said order once we both nodded "Yep, the usual please", that being toasted teacake and tea for Mum, and vanilla milkshake and banana muffin (warmed up of course) for myself.
*That having said, my usual visits here with mum were from some years back, and we don't come here often nowadays. Why is that?
Cons: Well, we eventually stopped coming here often as soon as Mum realised what was happening to her 'toasted' teacake, which looks like it gets flattened under a waffle iron now, so you know, flat and rather hard. A silly con perhaps, but when Mum ordered herself a croissant today, that too suffered the same poor fate as the toasted teacake. At least the rest of our order turned out alright. Another con is the children's play area. Looks worn down, and I've never really seen anyone play there, so it could do with a refurbishment.
But toasted teacake/croissant aside, food is still great, and once again shout out to the wonderful male barista (forgot name sadly); even after our period of absence from Muffin Break, he still recognised us today...

Read morePopped in with the better half, he worked on his laptop and I read my book, coffee was nice. The was what I can only assume was friends or family with about 5 kids running about screaming the whole place down, none of the staff did anything, an elderly lady asked for them just to be a little quicker to which the mum of the kids told her to leave and called her a Karen(not the exact words she used 😒) No one in the place could enjoy their time, coffee, or even think straight. Quiet disappointed at the staff for not doing anything at all, especially with the language being used to the elderly lady who was just trying to enjoy her coffee and chat...
