Muncheese — Restaurant in England

Muncheese use to be my go to place for years but unfortuntely not anymore. I have had two bad experiences recently that have completely put me off.

The first time being a dietary note they missed. My sister has an allergy and I added this on the notes. When the pizzas arrived she unfortunately could not have them. When I rang to inform them, they were not very apologetic and said “I never saw the notes.” What is the point of having notes if you are NOT checking!?

The second time being the ridiculous prices for pizzas. Online it showed £16 for a pizza. There was no option to change or to inform what size you would get. When the pizza arrived it was a 9” pizza for £16 - a total ripoff! The prices are not worth what you get and you have unfortunately lost some...

The only good things was the customer service, polite staff and the chips. However, the other food was not the best. I ordered 2 large pizzas, large chips and a portion of chicken strips. The £18 pizzas were not nice at all, the roast chicken topping on the pizza was horrible, hard and tasteless and also smelt weird. £6 Chicken strips had an odd smell coming from them, these went straight in the bin. And £2.90 for a 1.25ltr bottle of coke, rip off. Woke up in the middle of night feeling sick, and the same feeling next day. Food really messed my stomach up. Overall 1 star. I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent pizza delivery I received from this place. When the order arrived, it was clear that the pizza had been handled carelessly making it evident that no care was taken during delivery or when making the pizza. This was very disappointing and, frankly, felt deliberate.

I expect better attention to detail, and this experience has left me frustrated. Given how my order was handled, I will not be ordering from your establishment again.
