The food here is really nice, we enjoyed what we ordered, but the hour wait for takeaway really put us off ordering again. Especially since they don’t even give free poppadoms for the inconvenience of the wait. I don’t know why they don’t have a better system for takeaway. One guy in there while we were waiting complained that the wait was like this every time he ordered and seemed to be getting worse. They really need to look at how to improve as it can’t be nice for those dining in to have people stood around behind them waiting for takeaway. Even people who had telephoned orders through had a minimum of 30 mins wait. If you don’t mind waiting 45 mins to an hour for good food then I recommend this place, otherwise, there’s plenty of other restaurants in the area where you don’t lose an hour of your day waiting for your grub. I am very disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. When we arrived, the staff told us that the restaurant was closed and refused to serve us. Shortly afterwards, two men entered and were welcomed in, seated, and served food without any issue. We were told they had “friends inside,” but this was clearly not true – they were simply allowed to eat while we were turned away.
As women, this treatment felt discriminatory and unacceptable. I have visited your restaurant several times before, but this incident was extremely disappointing and has completely changed my view of your service.
The way we were treated was unprofessional, unfair, and came across as sexist. I will not be recommending your restaurant to anyone...

Just had a takeaway order from Naaz. We have recently moved to the area from Essex,so was keen to find a good takeaway. We did search online and were influenced by the good ratings and reviews.We normally have takeaway meals. We shared a Lamb Bhuna, Chicken Malaya,Mushroom Pilau rice and the usual sundries. It was all plentiful, but found that both the main dishes were a little short on the meat content. Any of the lamb found was just small pieces and not many. Same with the chicken dish. Plenty of sauce which was ok. Maybe it was a bad night ? Sorry to have to write a not that great review after seeing all the 5 star reviews,but I write as I find.
