I have always had consistently great meals at this particular branch — which makes it all the more disappointing to write this review. (previously 5 stars across the board)

We visited yesterday during what was clearly a busy period, and although the staff were, as always, polite and attentive, several issues affected our experience this time. One of our children received garlic bread that was visibly burnt — almost entirely black in places. Another child’s chicken breast arrived cold, as did my corn on the cob, which was surprising considering we were seated just a few feet from the kitchen. I ordered a double chicken breast in a pitta: the bottom piece was fine, but the top breast was incredibly tough and inedible. I couldn’t bite through it, and cutting it took real effort. It was white inside, so appeared cooked, but the texture was rubbery and dense. This was likely due to it being either significantly overcooked or reheated. Either way, it was not the quality I’ve come to expect from Nando’s.

Normally I would have flagged these issues to the staff, but with time pressures (we were heading to the cinema) and the restaurant being crowded, I didn’t have the time/wish to raise a complaint etc. That said, the experience was unfortunately already marred by the food quality, which was disappointing and below Nando’s typical standard.

I’m still a fan of Nando’s and hope this was just a rare off-day due to high demand. I’m not usually one to complain — far from it — but I do think it’s important to flag food-related issues, which matter more than most other aspects of a dining experience. I hope to see the...

totally agree with the previous customer comment, manager was being hostile, i don't understand how saying "i would like to order the food with two sides" has any meaning of separate the sides into single order. I was accused repeatly of my own fault and how i ordered, i didn't even complained about the issue and just asked to resolve the difference that i paid. When you encountered someone doesn't listen, and not welcoming at all from the beginning, how would react to it.

The worst experience in my whole life, telling a customer to leave the restaurant because your own fault, totally despised and insulted. If you think your staff is new then you better spend some time helping them instead of giving that as an excuse and put it on the customer. I don't think anybody would expect paying more the same items and same portion?! the one star service is for the manager grade, however all the other server were given excellent service, friendly and helpful.
