Food was good. Staff were lovely. But what a shambles our visit was. When the 5 of us all adults arrived we told them we also have a baby with us too and need to have the pram near us as the baby will sit in the pram while we eat. 20 minute wait and then we were seated. While we were waiting for our food the manager came over and said the pram needs to be moved as it’s in the way and she pushed it behind the seats so not visible. Our food arrived so we asked for a baby seat as couldn’t have the pram there even though asked before seating. The manager came back over and said we cannot have a high chair. We explained we informed your staff on arrival that we have a baby and asked to be seated appropriately. The manager said I’m sorry it’s the staffs fault. We told her we will not be holding a 7 month old baby while eating. Manager said it’s not my fault I didn’t design this restaurant. We said you seem to be blaming everyone apart from yourself. You are the manager and this falls on you. She said I will re-seat you but we have no seats. We stated our food is on the table and is getting cold. Manager then said I will get a high chair but we will not be responsible for the child sitting here. If the baby gets knocked while we are serving food it’s down to you. We explained that it is her responsibility as a manager to make sure we are seated in a family friendly zone as this is a family restaurant. After the conversation going back and fourth she said she will stop people walking past that part with hot food. This did not happen staff and diners were walking past with hot food and drinks. We ended up taking the baby out of the seat while finishing our meal. Very poor management. She needs some training. Also all the staff need to be made aware what parts are safe for young children to sit. We will not visit this...

A friend and I were working in town and decided to grab some dinner here to start with whoever thought putting the tills right in the way of the front door was a good idea needs shooting the folks trying to come in pushing through the queue of people at the till to get to their table was just ridiculous! Now o to the service or distinct lack of it! We both ordered at the same time my friend had no issues but I had to point out to the person on the till I was dining in and not takeout and that she had taken my order wrong anyway then the wait started my friends food arrived in good time but after another 10 minutes of waiting I still hadn't received mine I could see piles of food on the hot plate but no one was dishing it out I had to ask a member of staff in the end where my food was a few minutes later it arrived but no fries I waited at least another 10 minutes for these by which time I had practically finished my food!
