First time I've been to the clowes and l was really disappointed. We booked a table for our 16th anniversary for 20:00 arrived on time, we got our table and it took 30 minutes just to get a menu and that was only because I got fed up of being ignored so I had to shout out to a passing waitresses. I wouldn't normally mind waiting but considering this is in coronavirus times and the restaurant was only half full and the fact that they wanted us to leave by 22:00 I find it extremely unacceptable and disappointing. When our starter arrived at about 20:50 a special mixed grill I have to say it was really nice, both me and my wife enjoyed it. For the main meal we ordered the chicken karahi and a lamb bhuna both medium hot with some garlic naan, the chicken karahi was bland almost tasteless and the lamb bhuna only had about 6 or 7 pieces of lamb in it and it was so sour it had an overpowering vinegar taste, both the curry's were really mild not what I had ordered and not what I was expecting at all. The atmosphere was not great either it had music playing but the volume was so low you could just about hear it and then you had a group of drunken people who's behaviour was unacceptable to say the lease. This place is not somewhere were I would come for any kind celebration also I have to say this was a disappointing end to a...

From the moment we arrived at Naseeb@The Clowes, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well looked after throughout the evening.
The food was simply outstanding—every dish was packed with rich, authentic flavours and cooked to perfection. From the starters to the mains, everything was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. You can really tell that quality ingredients and expert cooking go into every dish.
The atmosphere was just perfect—relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. The decor is elegant yet cozy, making it a great spot for both special occasions and casual dining. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy amazing food, and soak in the lovely ambiance.
I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for top-quality Indian cuisine in a great setting. Just a little tip—pre-booking is advisable, as it does get quite busy (which is always a good sign!).
Can’t wait to visit again! (It's under new management...
Read moreThe food is authentic and delicious. Food is made to order which can be made to suit your own taste (as I did). It's big and noisy with customers having a great time! There's also a bar area which is nice too and the place is child friendly and lively! The food and service are awesome and the portions are generous too. We have gone in large groups, including with small children all of whom have loved their food and has now become a regular for special occasions. They cater for all tastes, have a fantastic vegetarian menu to choose from as well as authentic meat and fish dishes and a really good range of starters and mains, without being overwhelming to choose. They also make each dish using unique spice blends and traditional Indian cooking techniques which means each dish tastes unique and as it should do and not the same as every other dish on the menu like some other Indian restaurants do. Great place. Love it! Would be great if their food was available for delivery too! Only thing is they don't do desserts which is why they've lost a...
