When your in the mood to eat seafood, then this is the venue to come to for quality based seafood dishes.
The last time I saw a seafood bucket was in Chiang Mai in Thailand and it was EPIC, yes, all theatre but quality based. Seeing this at Nick's wanted me to travel 2 hours to go and eat a yum seafood dish.
However, we should have read the note on the menu and ordered the bucket before we arrived as it is a longer wait. So DONT complain, read the notes and pre-order, and enjoy the moment.
We ordered other seafood items which were finger licking tasty with juicy delicious King prawns that were cooked to perfection with an incredible garlic based glaze. The Swordfish was presented with a yum salad and super tasty. The Scallops were divine and just melted in our mouths.
The ambience is great, nice sunny day, not overly crowded and well worth the wait. Plenty if open and closed spaces to eat including inside.
Staff, the only person that made the experience a proper hospitality experience was India, a student with an exceptional personality that truly, naturally connected with people. Something rare these days in hospitality. The other staff should take note and be a bit more bubbly, or even just smile....
Recommendation
Go and enjoy incredible quality based seafood, pre-order if your getting the bucket.
Don't complain if you have to wait, enjoy the ambience.
Right on the seafront with a nice...
