Nks Fish & Chips — Restaurant in England

Went there for a bit of food as I had an hour and a half wait at the local train station as connecting and then a two and a half hour train journey. Did not disappoint one bit. Owner was one of the kindest person I’ve met recently and explained that he charges as low as he can in this cost of living crisis. He wasn’t wrong - £5 for a full tray of fish and chips - obviously sauces and things like salt and pepper optional for free if you want. Not only was it cheap, the chips were great and the fish was some of the nicest fish I’ve had in years. Thousand times better than my local fish bar. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in Crewe. The place has a 5 star hygiene rating which doesn’t surprise me at all - the place was incredibly clean and I saw nothing including no grease except a singular fly which you can’t help against, especially in this heat. Visited this evening 13/9/2024, with my partner Neil. TJ is wonderful and very friendly. The best meal deal we have ever had ! Burger with cheese salad and my fella had mayonnaise sauce on his with chips and a can of pop, all for £7 ( each) excellent value for money and highly recommended. All Cooked fresh and to perfection. If you are in Crewe then check out TJS Fish and Chips. We both agree the best Chippy in the Country by a long country mile! Great location close to Crewe Train Station. Simply the best. Also Lloyd also deserves a special Mention as he also works hard and does a great job, also nice and friendly as well. Makes for a wonderfully memorable experience. We will Certainly be back TJ! So if you are in Crewe and want a decent, wholesome, wonderful Meal, then what are you waiting for ? Come to TJs. The best there is ! Absolutely beautiful !! Came here to have the Fish& Chips , was served to me on a plate with incredible service by TJ himself a very good price and high quality food . Nice crispy chips and the batter on the fish was gorgeous big and thick portions aswell! TJ is a man what will go above and beyond for all his customers and wants them to enjoy their food. I can see it in his character he just loves people having his food and enjoying ! A very friendly chap . This is so highly rated will not go to any other place . Please try this if you want nice food and a chat , especially the fish. Well done TJ for your service and what you can bring to the community!!
