Popped in for a cuppa and a little rest and recuperation a little after 6pm on a Saturday. We sat at the back of the establishment on the wing back chairs, which were very comfortable. Our drinks were brought to us, which we were very grateful for after an afternoon of gift shopping. Most of the coffee shops and café's had already closed and all other pubs were very busy and noisy, but although there was music playing in the background and there were some other patrons in this establishment, it more than suited our needs, as my daughter has invisible disabilities and needs time out from busy/noisy environments to recharge...

My husband had the cheeseburger, which he said was one of the best he'd had (must have been good as we went back the next night and he ordered the same again). I had the halloumi kebab, nice generous portions of halloumi, red pepper and onion, served with coleslaw, green salad, tomatoes, red onion and red peppers, delicious. Read moreLovely caramel cookie dough dessert but the latte was watery and the flat white was more like a frothy cappuccino. We were only in the area for an hour and chose this place, which meant we had to do without enjoying a proper cup of coffee.
Decent if you're not really into coffee, for sure. Quite similar to Greggs around the corner. If you're going to get a drink wrong though, don't make it the Flat White as it's so obvious.
