Really enjoyed my time at Novello.

Decor is lovely upon entering you can see that it’s kind of rustic and yet modern. We were greeted and seated within a few mins despite no reservation (it was an off the cuff decision to visit)

Decided for my main to have the beyond burger with the bacon-style strips. The beyond burger was one of the nicest vegan burgers I’ve had eating out. Well cooked, reasonably priced, and very filling. I was impressed.

I also had the halloumi fries as a side. I did think these were a little expensive for such a small side. But very tasty nonetheless.

Lastly, had the brownie for dessert. Again very nice to finish the night although not as rich in flavour as I’d have expected. Also reasonably priced.

I had a couple of cocktails while there. One wasn’t really to my liking. (Yellow one) including myself, everyone who had ordered it took a sip and their faces scrunched up lol it was pretty strong anyway but also maybe a bit too sour? The other cocktail was a passionfruit martini. The way it should be made isn't done here with the right ingredients. So although it was nice to drink, it didn’t taste like the classic, and was a little overpriced for what it was. That said, it was still a lovely evening out.

The staff were absolutely lovely. A credit to the venue.

Overall, this is why I’ve gone 4/5. However, I’d definitely recommend and I...

I come here every so often and it's always a pleasant experience. Today really impressed me though. We dropped by at the height of lunch and it was completely packed. We needed a table for thee but only a table for two was available. She asked us if we'd be happy sitting at a small (2 person) table with an extra chair (flexibility). While she wasn't the only person to serve us and they were all good, throughout our meal she seemed to be like a Tazmanian devil. She was the one that greeted us, she collected our used crockery but she cleaned three of the tables near us, she was brushing & sweeping the next minute and then she was delivering food the next. I'm an Army (British) veteran and I notice things like this. If I'd had ready cash on me I would have tipped, she's what I would term as a "grafter". I don't know who she was (they don't wear name tags) but she wore a mustard coloured dress & had tattoos on both her ankles. I tend to notice people who work hard or provide a good service. In an environment of great staff and great...

We go here quite often and usually find it a very comfortable place with quality food .the staff are friendly and attention to intolerance .on thus occasion I ordered the usual breakfast with my lactose intolerance said toast no butter . When our food usually arrives mine has a red flag letting me know its my intolerance plate but on this date I had no flag so asked if it was my plate and told yes it would be OK for me to eat on further inspections I found my toast was buttered this created fear in eating it so I went to ask why it was buttered I was told its OK probably vegan butter but due to being afraid of being iporrly after eating it I refused to eat they did offer to cook another plate but this one took quite a time to come out so I refused due to the time . Don't think I will trust this lounge again as fear of not cooking food to intolerance precautions its just not...

Popped in for a late brunch, as usual staff were friendly and upbeat (always makes a differance). Little thing to note, they always check for allergies and though we don't need to worry about them here, it's nice to know it's important to them. Atmosphere was pleasant and the food was really really good, clearly freshly made by someone who cares about presentation and quality. To boot it arrived much faster than anticipated meaning I got to enjoy it before hangry arrived lol. Contrary to some other reviews I think the prices are more than reasonable for the quality and service you get. My eggs with mushroom and spinach plus a pot of tea (at least 3 cups worth) was £10.50 approx. FYI I can also recommend the blueberry pancakes, they are yummy 😉 Thanks again for a lovely brunch, we will be back soon.

Visited for a quick coffee and the service was excellent, polite and friendly staff. Decided to visit again for dinner, the children (18 & 13 years old) and I had a lovely time. Easy to order via app, helpful and polite staff, they’re always busy yet have time to ensure every table is settled and happy with everything. The food is delicious and drinks great, I must admit the coffee is delightful and I’m fussy! A calm and chilled atmosphere despite being busy. Wheelchair access. Ideal for children and families. Situation next to other restaurants and great shopping facilities. A fantastic park (Telford) a couple of minutes walk, which offers fabulous family friendly activities and much more… Overall - Excellent.
