The LiquorLab — Restaurant in Great Britain

We previously visited The Liquor Lab last November during Wales Comic Con and found it to be an excellent place to visit, so much so that when we recently attended this years convention we were most certainly going back.

In some ways we were actually more excited about boozing it up in ‘The Lab’ than actually attending the Comic Con, especially considering you can’t actually get an alcoholic beverage in the International Centre - the Dude would simply not abide that!

They have changed their menu since our last visit, however if you have a favourite from the old menu they can still accommodate you on this front. I especially the white chocolate expresso martini from last time and they made it for me, and it was as good as I remembered.

As for the new drinks, there is almost too much to choose from, I really enjoyed the millionaire’s Expresso martini and my partner Claire had Mexican Milkshake, which looked and tasted amazing and was almost as filling as a meal, the presentation of the drinks is always superb.

I even tried a charred caramel which was in their chemical creations menu, the cocktail tasted amazing, it was like a nice box of chocolates and I could have sat and had many more.

Even more impressive was the fact that the bartended literally set the drink on fire in front of me, I have to applaud the bravery of these amazing bar staff, especially considering many of them have artisanal beards, luckily there was only a charred caramel, and not a charred beard.

All the staff were lovely, and very welcoming and they even remembered us from the previous yeas event, which was nice, however, I was dressed as the Dude from the Big Lebowski, so I do stand out somewhat.

Then there are the bar snacks, I would highly recommend the pork scratchings as these are the best I’ve ever tasted, not too salty, just lovely, and their cheese and olives are also exceptional.

We are guaranteed to return whenever we are in Telford as the drinks are simply superb, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are all just amazing.

You really must check out the Liquor Lab, it’s simply the best!

Absolutely lovely place! Was very impressed with this. The drinks are very reasonably priced, especially considering the work that has gone into putting them together, and making the whole bar look so luxurious. I had the spectrum and cherry bakewell, and my boyfriend had the peach theory and raspberry infusion. They were all so good! Neither of us are big drinkers, so these are great options for if you prefer a sweet drink that you can't taste the alcohol in as much. Spectrum to me kind of tasted like a peach schnapps and lemonade, with a funky twist of dry ice and some caviar bubbles. Cherry bakewell was absolutely spot on like a cherry bakewell - very impressive. The peach theory was like a classic peachy gin and lemonade tasting drink. Raspberry infusion tasted like a slightly sour fruity drink (pretty much just like a raspberry!) The whole vibe of the place was just very luxurious, while also very relaxing and friendly. Would...

Went for a few post dinner drinks with a group of girlfriends and had the best evening!!!

An offer on the cocktails meant we made it through half the menu, and they were all delicious!!! The very helpful bar tenders helped us pick almost every one of them with all of our different ‘wants’ from our drinks! The complimentary popcorn we had alongside is something I’d have never thought to do, but worked perfectly! ...and as the drinks kept coming, so did the nibbles! We ordered every type from their menu and they were all great!

One of our girl gang was pregnant too and was catered for wonderfully with a choice of mocktails! ...I should have maybe swapped to them before the end!
