This pub is a joke it was 6.30 pm on Thursday night it was my 20th birthday I asked for a coke they said can I see you ID I said I did have any the told my they wouldn't sever me , then when my dad got there he spoke to the lady said she 20 all she want is a glass Coke joke , maybe you need to look at the pub laws

The age at which people are legally allowed to purchase alcohol is 18 in most circumstances. Adults purchasing alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 in a pub or from an off-licence are potentially liable to prosecution along with the vendor.

However, legislation does allow for the consumption of alcohol by those under 18 in the following circumstances:

The individual is aged 5 or older, and is at home or other private premises. The individual is aged 16 or 17 and the alcohol, which can only be beer, wine or cider, is consumed with a table meal. The person making the purchase must themselves be over 18.[1]

The Licensing Act 2003 thoroughly revised and consolidated into one Act all the many separate legislative provisions that previously covered licensed premises in England and Wales. The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 brought the same reforms...

I came here for an evening out on a Friday. Maybe a sign of the times, but it wasn't too busy. What was nice was the security guard was welcoming, there were a lot of servers available so there wasn't a long wait at all. The bar had a considerable selection available and multiple beers including some craft beers on tap. The prices were reasonable and a round came to about £16 for 3 people.

Out back there was a covered area in the beer "garden", but mostly patio, where a live band set up shop.

the only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me was the band was a little loud (literally only had to turn it down a bit) because it made conversation...

I dont necessarily dislike the place. Its a nice enough place. I just wasnt impressed with my personal treatment.. Although I was acknowledged Upon entry & it was a little busy.. I definitely did not appreciate staff serving those who came in a while after me. 22 minutes standing at the bar to order food & drinks for a toddler & two adults while staff bypass me is ridiculous.. But will say, the bangers n mash was fabulous 👌.. Also, I could complain about the extra time it took to get a luxury mocha, but that time was forgotten once I'd sat and drank the delightful frothy drink. I know who I'll get to make it when I...

I come here quite a bit on Sundays to see their live bands and have dinner. Today has been very disappointing as ordered the Sunday dinner and usually you get a nice bit of veg greens and carrots etc but today I got a couple of strips of carrots and some parsnips which were the same colour as my beef . It was very disappointing to Say the least and I felt it was to busy to really complain to much . Picture below . Not acceptable for a Sunday lunch . I will say the beef and pigs in blankets were nice but maybe put the veg on as that’s a cheap option to bulk the dinners out and for people to have their 5 a day .

Very slow serving cooked lunch. Waited nearly an hour. The fish I had was well over cooked. Batter was hard / burnt. The fish inside was small and all dried up. Chips are crispy on the outside, no good inside. The best part was the mushy peas!
