My favourite cafe. Very friendly good coffee and a particularly good french earl grey worth going to try it alone. Great cakes, panini's and a passable, if slightly unimaginative ploughman's lunch, all at reasonable prices. It also has a reliable free WiFi. I occasionally spend considerable time here when I have the chance and staff seem happy to allow that. If they're not too busy, they will even top up your pot.
An added bonus is that while it's a Baptist church (I'm an avowed atheist) all profits go to a trafficked women's refuge which I'm more than happy to support.
With just a very few changes and improvements this could so easily become a premier café. It's not a French patisserie, but it's a good solid well run...
