I’ve been a regular for a few years, but I am now sick of being ripped off and not listened to. The place is freezing in winter and roasting in summer. They also sell extremely smelly cheese from the fridge that is open regularly by customers who want a beer. I have seen numerous customers ask why the cheese couldn’t be moved to a different fridge and the excuses from staff range from ridiculous to condescending. The drink prices are exceptionally high, and none of this is put back into the venue, seats are uncomfortable and covered with animal skins which aren’t washed regularly and dogs sit on them too. If you want an unhygienic, overpriced pint, then...

Words cannot describe how amazing the market for independent bars and breweries. But somehow palmer street bottle stands out among them. The food is fabulous, special shoutout to the sourdough toasties they make. The variation of alcohol on tap is always a keen point that peaks my interest and helps me struggle to make rent at the end of the month as I just must taste all the local and special brews that come through each time I return to Frome. The friends I have now made from the staff and the memories this place now...

What an excellent craft beer and other things outlet. Two enthusiastic and sociable hosts, serves great beer (on tap - keg but good), as well as cider wines and spirits, and stuff in cans/bottles. They also do a selection of local cheeses to buy, a cheese board and beer/wine sampler to have in the bar, toasties, sausage rolls, and much more. If you're visiting Frome this is the place to be!! Nathan, Henry: keep it up: whatever you're doing works so don't change it. (Shame about the bloke down the road - you know...

The best little pub in Frome. Fabulous staff who are well knowledged in the offerings. Great selection of beers, taps change often so do ask for recommendations based on your taste buds. Spirits - some locally distilled. Retribution Gin 5⭐️'s For wine, the organic range lovely. Aldwick wines available too. Highly recommend Aldwick Jubilate, a beautiful English fizz. Food on offer... oosh, so good. Check out the menu. Palmer Street Bottle (PSB) is a must go-to. We frequent often!

What an amazing discovery in the heart of Frome. 6 (I think) craft keg lines and a great selection of cans and bottles in the fridges. Would love it to have cask but they can't have it all! Dog friendly which to me is key, cozy seating at the front and a nice larger area at the back. The only downside is they are in Frome so I can't walk to it! :) Will definitely be back everytime I pop into Frome, which I may actually do more often from now on!

No cash accepted here. It’s a rustic, laid-back, dog-friendly spot with gender-neutral restrooms. They had a few interesting hoppy IPAs on tap, but I was hoping for some real ales. Thankfully, the fridge was well-stocked with a wider variety of canned beers—though they come at a price. The flooring is just a cold, concrete subfloor, which feels a bit too modern for my taste.
