Ordered a pizza, an hour and a half later still no pizza. Tried to cancel but had to use a phone number not connected to the order as they are clearly screening customer calls and didn’t pick up when tried multiple times from the number connected to the order but picked up first time when called from an unrelated number (we called twice, once to check after 45 mins had gone by and were told ‘it will be on the way soon’, and as soon as they had one new number they refused to answer the phone to that number and we had to use another friends phone who again got an answer first time and we finally managed to cancel our order.) poor showing from Papa Johns, I can understand that they are very busy and there is a driver shortage and don’t want to have multiple cancelled orders reported to head office but to ignore your customers so they can’t cancel should they choose is a pretty shoddy show. Such a shame, papa John’s has always my go to pizza chain wherever I’ve lived, but after this I don’t think I’ll be buying...
Read moreAbsolute shocker. Ordered online a decent amount too. Usually give a good tip. Anyway, Hour and 20 minutes later guy turns up gives me order all excuses. Traffics bad. Take food, clearly riled but oh well just praying it's warm I know it won't be hot... Turns out, isn't even what I ordered, look on box, some other geezers order. So that guys not happy or maybe he is mine was 2 xxl pizzas loaded. Stuff wasn't what I ordered, Useless to me, not what I wanted plus looked stone code.
Have asked for refund via online form probably take a week but I can't be arsed with the agro of phoning them up especially as they would probably get all defensive try to refulfil the order, Id get it before bedtime maybe?. Won't use that one again, got on the blower to Dominos instead. Fingers crossed. The one in Sandhurst is spot on mind you
I suppose that is the danger of franchises though I thought that was the point that they (PJs)...
Read moreOrdered tonight after a really hard and long day, hoping to make myself feel better. Whilst I understand it is a Friday night, it was well beyond peak time when I ordered and yet took an hour to arrive, for some reason was delivered by Uber (the driver for whom was a bit rude), and was cold by the time it got here (their tracker said it was done cooking 45 minutes before it was delivered so I'm surprised it wasn't completely stone cold). Final nail in the coffin, an experience of a bland, flavourless, and unbelievably chewy pizza which I managed to eat less than a quarter of before giving up and abandoning it. What happened to Papa Johns? No chance I'll be ordering from here again. Dominos may not be great and is a bit of a rip off, but this was just as much of a rip off for far worse. Thanks for a suitable end to an...
