We ate here last night after reading the amazing reviews, we are so glad we chose here the food was incredible. Huge portions, we had 5 dishes between 2 of us and were so full, even 4 would've been plenty but we loved every single dish. We had spicy beef enchiladas, seafood paella, tex MEX mini burgers, fish burrito, honey BBQ chicken tacos - every dish the flavours were beautiful. We were so impressed, amazing value for money too not too expensive and portion sizes were great! We can't wait to come back. The waitress was very helpful and attentive, she reccomended the spicy beef enchiladas and I'm very glad she did 😄 my only comment would be we had the sharing pitcher tropical margarita which said it was mango puree pineapple juice and lemonade, no orange juice, but unfortunately it just tasted like fizzy orange juice (I don't like orange juice) couldn't taste any pineapple or mango flavours which are my favourite so a bit disappointed in that. To be fair I didn't mention this and drank some of it anyway as it was a small issue that was just me being fussy and it didn't take away from the amazing meal we had anyway, just thought I'd mention it for future. Overall 5/5, beautiful food, excellent service. Can't wait...

Wasn’t too busy on a Thursday evening in January however was asked to wait at the bar to have drinks until a table was ready. When we declined to order drinks at the bar and would wait for table, an empty table was given to us immediately. Lovely atmosphere and food. Great background music. Tapas style which we ordered about 2 dishes each and shared (3 women). However, when my friend stated she didn’t like the sweet potato fries, the waitress Asked if she’d ever eaten them before to which my friend said yes and these weren’t to her liking. They still charged us £3 for a dish we didn’t eat and again implied that she didn’t know what sweet potato fries taste like and the member of staffs response was that she thought they tasted fine. Usually if a customer doesn’t even eat the dish and sends it back it’s taken off the bill. Very strange customer service all for the sake of £3. We even tipped the service (not realising they hadn’t taken the fries off the bill) which I now regret. As nice as it was a lot of other places I’ve eaten have the same type of food and better customer service. For a small town it’s a nice place but wouldn’t work in London as you’d go somewhere else where they don’t get defensive...

So I like to eat out and I like the food. Been out for a bigger party dinner for more than 10peoples, with preorder meals, with ordered food for one extra person just to keep extra space for extra person or to have little more food. The volume food did not represent the number of people, just not enough, small portions bu good shares and nice atmosphere but do not like to go out from eating place hungry. Would like to see more meat in meat dishes. Have to say that chicken cheese and mushrooms was delicious but it was mainly sauce dish not as much chicken in it. Would like to have added the tap bears, to the offer, or printed information about size of the drinks in the menu. As when asked waiter if the bottled bears comes in big or small bottles and asked for the bear which has been advised as big one - you get 333ml bottle, you can be a bit disappointed. Generally nice place for quick tapas and quick drink - good if you are on diet as good selection of low calories vegetarian food. So compare to what we used to have in Pedros and what you get at this occasion - bit...

We love Mexican food so decided to visit Pedro's Casa while on holiday nearby. It was a lovely, friendly place with vibrant and fun decor. They serve sharing dishes which is right up our street so we got to taste lots of dishes. The restaurant recommends 2-3 dishes per person but when they take your order they will let you know if you have ordered lots of heavy dishes so you can decide whether or not to keep them, which is very helpful. We ordered Nachos, Quesadillas, Tacos, Salad, Patatas Bravas and Steak strips. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The Patatas Bravas was melt in the mouth and the Steak dish was amazing. Our host was very friendly and carefully explained the menu to us. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. The only thing I would work out is where to park. There are places nearby but we didn't plan this ahead and ended up being a few minutes late for our reservation.

My daughter and I decided to come here yesterday evening... It was really busy but the kind owner took our number and said they would ring when a table was free as we said we would go for a drink at the bar next door...we had a fabulous meal!!! Squid salad.. Mexican street corn nachos.. Fries and halloumi bites.. But the star of the meal was the beef tostadas!!! OMG!! All I can say is they were out of this world... I literally could have eaten a whole plate of them to myself.. We have been here many times before but this time they really blew us away with the new dishes we tried The street corn nachos were a new addition to the menu and the squid salad and the beef tostadas were this weeks specials... And if the owner doesn't put them on the menu permanently Im gonna have to complain 😂 If you haven't been here before then why the heck not!!!!???? You will NOT be disappointed

I went to Pedro’s Casa for dinner with a friend this weekend as I have just moved to the area and was intent on finding the best dining experiences in Kendal. Well what can I say…an amazing meal with super friendly staff. We had 6 dishes off the tapas menu and each one was a delight, I highly recommended the beef burrito and the salt and pepper squid, each dish was an ample portion and beautifully cooked and presented. The wine I had was absolutely delicious too (Chilean Chardonnay) the service and friendliness of the staff was great, nothing was too much trouble for them and the took time in engaging with conversation after our meal. Overall highly recommended and now that I’m a local Kendolian I shall be frequenting Pedros many times in the future.
