Pie Hole Pizzas — Restaurant in England

I have seen nothing but positive reviews of the Pie Hole and thought well this must be all vegan hype. So after getting a discount from Uber I thought I would give them a go.i ordered the Spice Spice Baby with a side of Mac and Cheese, my friend had a side of Mac and cheese and some Garlic Knots.

I have been a vegan for 30 years and had some really good and really bad pizzas amongst other things. My pizza last night was, by a long shot, the best vegan pizza I have ever had. The flavours, the light, thin base, the size were all on point. The garlic knots were out of this world and the Mac and cheese was a flavour heaven.

There is now no reason for me to try the other outlets as this place sits way above the other places I have been using to get my pizza fix. The service was great and I feel guilty for using an Uber discount😞

Customer service really is next level. Very friendly place to be.

However - as someone who isn't vegan the pizza is a decent pizza compared to regular pizza and nothing to write home about However - the cheese you would struggle to tell is vegan. I can imagine as a vegan this has to be one of the best options out there.

However - it is massively expensive coming in at £20 for a medium and a side. I understand supporting small business and I love to do it but at the price point it isn't sustainable -

However you do get a great portion for the price.

I opted for the mac and cheese and margarita style pizza. The mac and cheese wasn't as rich as I would have expected it to me. The base was however very pleasant.

I (lactose intolerant flexitarian) went last night with my partner (carnivore) and another couple (1/2 vegetarian- 1/2 carnivore). We went 4 quarters on a large pizza for variety and each one was absolutely amazing. Even the carnivores were highly impressed. It wasn’t good for being vegan… it was good full stop. The garlic dipping sauce took the pizza to an 11. The cheese blend is out of this world. The staff was also phenomenal. Very friendly and informative.
