I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Quirky Bird Cafe, a charming cafe opposite Chalkwell Park. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is tasteful and cozy, creating the perfect environment for a relaxing meal.
The food at The Quirky Bird Cafe is nothing short of exceptional. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast that left me eagerly planning my next visit. We had the Eggs Royale and a traditional breakfast, both of which were incredibly tasty. The meat in the traditional breakfast was lean and perfectly cooked without any fat. The menu offers a great variety of options, all clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Each dish was beautifully presented.
The staff at The Quirky Bird Cafe make you feel at home. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing excellent service. It's clear that they take great pride in their work, which enhances the overall dining experience.
In addition to the superb food and outstanding service, the proximity to the local park adds a lovely touch. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before or after a peaceful stroll through the park.
Overall, I highly recommend The Quirky Bird Cafe to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this cafe is a gem worth discovering. I can't wait to return and explore...

Food was spot on, i had scrambled eggs on toast she had eggs benedict and she stated it was very nice and shes a bit of an eggs benedict snob.
Drinks were well prepared, the lattes were silky smooth and the right balance of coffee to milk.
So why 4 stars rather than 5...
I know it some kind of accepted norm nowdays but im really not, and never will be a fan of any food establishment that allows dogs inside its just not for me and my other half can get a reaction to dog hair.
Also £1.20 for syrup in coffee is bonkers! Oddly the alternative milk was only 40p so i tried to justify it by thinking its really 80p for each component, although thats still on the expensive side but more acceptable than £1.20 for one component.
Staff were friendly throught out and the food was enough to inspire us to add quirky bird to our brunch rosta.
Our overall bill was £24.30 so...
Read moreWhat an amazing find. There's a great atmosphere in the place which has everything from local people, families and I've even seen a celeb in there. Great decor too. The staff are brilliant. Nothing is to much trouble and their friendly, happy personalities are always a welcome treat. I'm a real foodie and the food is absolutely amazing.. Freshly cooked and as you like. With breakfast you can have your eggs fried, poached or scrambled. My favourite is the scrambled. Delicious. The fish n chips is another firm favourite which I think is better than some of the top fish restaurants. Love the battered gherkins that come with it. Sunday roast is a must too. No matter what the occasion quirky bird is a great place, with great food and is a firm favourite with me...
