Visited today we walked through the doors the tables were all fill up with rubbish and dirty dishes there were two servers at the front one close by that completely ignored our existence slowly tidying up and another server talking too two young children of which children of one of the workers as I over herd them asking for there mummy by the kitchen pass at one point during our dining experience the younger blonde server finally acknowledged us and seated us handed us the menu and asked if we had ever been here before which we had replied not for a very long time, she then said well basically we only except card and you order from the qr code at the table no explanation on how it all Works, confused and feeling rather ignored I decided to go ask how it works no person at the counter so I asked the chef behind the pass in which she called over one of the servers who then told us how it worked like we were an inconvenience for even asking we ordered on the app and got up for salad the two children who weee obviously a staff members kids wearing land yards with till cards were messing around with the tills and messing around with a dust pan and brush I thought this to be very unprofessional the food was cold and the pizzas were soggy at the bottom we paid x2 adult for £20 each and one kids for £10 that’s £50 and to top it off on the qr code ordering we had to pay a tip which frankly would have been alright if we actually received customer service so that’s £50 plus unwarranted tips for shoddy unprofessional , rude and disgusting food and to be made to feel like your a complete inconvenience. I hate the fact if you mobile order you have to tip before your served, because after the service we received tonight I'd like a refund. Drinks (suppling us with two glasses) over half-hour wait. Pizza so thin that it's practically tissue paper, the salad bar a disgusting sight of empty and mixed containers only filled at 1945, no good if you put you food order in at 1830 your food order arrives at your table at 1920, along with the glasses after a prompt. Once the disappointing pizza arrives that's it for the waiting staff, no checking up, no how's the meal, no is there anything we can get you. Or even how was your meal would you like your dessert, more like walk up to the counter and ask for it, then 30mins later one arrives, can we have a spoon for the ice-cream?? "Ok I'll get that" 10 mins later next dessert...and the spoon? Oh sorry let me get that for you...10mins later I'm eating with a fork. How could they improve. Employ more staff Don't ask for a tip before service it might be a way of motivating more attentive staff. This might beva personal thing but stuffed crust pizzas should have a slightly thicket base. When clearing tables, sweep the floor, it's not nice trying to avoid the last persons salad. If your making a huge profit on drinks please have the curtesy to fill the ice machine. 6 if you can't manage the customer that are waiting, put a sign up to say sorry we're can't take anymore customer right now. Read moreHaving not visited Pizza Hut for some time, we were tempted back to try the new vegan menu. On arrival we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, which was fine - we were advised of this and accepted the wait. However, once seated ,we waited at least 15 minutes before being offered a drink and then approximately another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Out of the three pizzas we ordered, two were incorrect. My daughters came on the incorrect base and the one myself and my husband ordered was not only on the wrong base, but also not the vegan version we had asked for. I was only able to establish this after checking we had not received someone else's order, as it was clearly on the wrong base. If on the right base, I would have assumed it was the vegan cheese. The side orders for our kids were also incorrect and the size of the kids pizza was miniscule for a 10 year old. My husband could not eat the pizza at all (as he is lactose intolerant as well as vegan) and we did not have another 40 minutes for the staff to make another. Nor did we have time for the kids to eat the pudding that was part of their 'meal deal'. The whole place both kitchen and floor were clearly terribly understaffed and presumably the stress put on staff contributed to the screwing up of our order. However, we were not offered an apology or a discount and we will never visit again. Pizza Express have an excellent vegan menu and service and I highly recommend them as an alternative vegan...
