Plated my food up. Ordered a madras apparently with added grasshopper!!! Not a fan of insect based dishes especially when I ordered chicken. It’s not a cheap place to order from and you don’t expect to be eating random insect with my Friday night curry. Atleast give me the option to add the insects I want to eat, grasshoppers would not be my top choice. There 90% leg with no meat on them, I would of chose something abit more substantial. Possibly a caterpillar.......or large moth. Overall taste of the curry was not bad. Madras was season correctly it had a nice kick to it. Unfortunately I soon forgot about the taste and felt like my taste buds had been abused. They led me in to a false sense of security, they gave me a taste sensation to then rip it out of my mouth and stamp on my emotions. It’s been a whirlwind of a Friday. I must say for my first order it’s not what I was expecting, in my opinion the chicken madras is fine without the insects. If you want a curry with a garden twist this is the...

We have been wanting to visit here for a long time, and tonight we finally got round to it. And now after having the best Indian meal we have in years we are kicking ourselves we didn't do it sooner! The food was simply incredible... We ordered far too much and felt bad for leaving so much, but we got to try and lot of different things... And all was as good as each other. The service was very polite and friendly and food came at a good pace, but we also didn't feel rushed.... Just right!! The only tiny little negative comment I have is there was 2 different lots of music playing at the same time... And that was a bit annoying. But overall.... Thoroughly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant.... We will definitely be...

I called the restaurant when our food arrived, because I did not recognise the look or flavour of our masala dishes, which were luminous red in colour and tasted nothing like a masala. I was rudely informed, by the manager, that the chef cooks it that way and always has, it was red because of the food colouring they add, and I would have to order something else next time. A masala should have a tomato sauce base with yoghurt mixed in to counter the acidity. I suspect what they had served was in fact a (terrible) korma base that they’d added red dye to, perhaps it was due to expire. Whatever the case, it was devoid of flavour and the customer service (or lack thereof) when I raised the issue was...

We preordered a New Year’s Eve takeaway for delivery at 7:30. As it was NYE we didn’t have high hopes of it arriving on time but the doorbell rang at 7:40 and we were shocked! Food was great, slightly cold but curry never travels great. Really tasty and great price. (Pictured is half a mushroom rice, half a chicken tikka masala, half portion of onion bahjis and half garlic naan.. don’t worry I ate the other half too!)
