Plated my food up. Ordered a madras apparently with added grasshopper!!! Not a fan of insect based dishes especially when I ordered chicken. Itâs not a cheap place to order from and you donât expect to be eating random insect with my Friday night curry. Atleast give me the option to add the insects I want to eat, grasshoppers would not be my top choice. There 90% leg with no meat on them, I would of chose something abit more substantial. Possibly a caterpillar.......or large moth. Overall taste of the curry was not bad. Madras was season correctly it had a nice kick to it. Unfortunately I soon forgot about the taste and felt like my taste buds had been abused. They led me in to a false sense of security, they gave me a taste sensation to then rip it out of my mouth and stamp on my emotions. Itâs been a whirlwind of a Friday. I must say for my first order itâs not what I was expecting, in my opinion the chicken madras is fine without the insects. If you want a curry with a garden twist this is the...
Read moreWe have been wanting to visit here for a long time, and tonight we finally got round to it. Thoroughly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant.... We will definitely be...

I was rudely informed, by the manager, that the chef cooks it that way and always has, it was red because of the food colouring they add, and I would have to order something else next time. A masala should have a tomato sauce base with yoghurt mixed in to counter the acidity. I suspect what they had served was in fact a (terrible) korma base that theyâd added red dye to, perhaps it was due to expire. Whatever the case, it was devoid of flavour and the customer service (or lack thereof) when I raised the issue was...
