Bella Italia - Longwell Green — Restaurant in Great Britain

I am writing this as if it was to bella italia.

We visited on the 27th of February 2025 our booking was from 8:15 pm and we left at 9:38 pm.

First look at the restaurant I was presently pleased with how nice it looked, but unfortunately the service and technical side of the restaurant wasn’t up to good standards.

We encountered three issues one being that on your app you advertised free refills, when I asked for a free refill your member of staff had no idea that there was such policy and told me no until I showed him the information on the app (this shows a lack of communication between manager and employee or higher up) Our other issue was that we was not told when ordering that we could not use our free main meal in the app due to having used the set menu, we was advised to check your policies and were shocked to find that it took me a very long time to find your policy regarding this free main meal. (Your policy arnt very clear to customers with learning disabilities.

The quality of food did not match the prices given.

Overall, I’m unfortunately not satisfied with my meal that I had today, this meal was to celebrate something special that happened in my life and I feel that I would have had a better service at another restaurant.

I hope that these issues can be addressed with the relevant people as I wouldn’t want this issue to happen again to...

This evening I took my wife for a meal for her birthday at Bella Italia in longwell green and was pleasantly surprised at the changes made since the previous franchise closed. We were treated and seated fast and friendly. Drinks made at the bar and bought to our table promptly! Staff were all friendly and polite couldn’t do enough for us!! We had dishes from the set menu and some dishes from the main menu we tried cocktails that were refreshing and well priced I thought. Desserts were prompt and when the bill came my wife and I always try to guess the total.. needless to say we were both well off!!! -2starters -3mains -2puds -2cocktails -2pints of Coke I was expecting close to £100 It wasn’t even £80… for quality and service! The food was hot and fresh and exactly what we needed in this cost of living crisis people who aren’t out to extort! Special thanks to mr Luke barber who made wonderful cocktails and was very attentive and bought a welcoming atmosphere to the table! This is a brand-new restaurant and it is absolutely beautiful, the venue boasts Modern stylish Italian themed decor as well as Italian music on site, the waiter service was fast friendly and efficient, the service went out of their way to get me everything that I needed and more…… The food that I ordered was all served hot, fresh with really succulent and Rich flavours, There was options for everyone such as vegetarians, vegans, kids, and they even did gluten-free. Personally, I loved How all of the options were the same for everyone if you ordered a vegan item it was a rendition of whatever the meat order was so everyone could eat the same which felt really inclusive. They have different promos that you can get involved with such as downloading that app saves you £10, There is also days where kids eat for free, This venue is a must visit for you, friends and family.
