Pizza Hut — Restaurant in England

Ordered the party meal deal and one extra cookie dough with ice cream, using Uber Eats. Order turned up missing one pizza, cookie dough with the party pack was chocolate and not white chocolate, and the extra cookie dough was not the white chocolate and caramel one, and was missing the ice cream. I called the shop and they placed all responsibility on the Uber driver, claiming he must of stolen it! My husband witnessed the Uber drivers bag being empty when he left our order. I asked the guy at Pizza Hut how uber was responsible for the incorrect cookie doughs and he advised he would discuss it with his chef, offering no solution. I called the Uber driver and he confirmed that he delivered everything Pizza Hut had given him and it wasn’t the first time they’d accused the Uber drivers of losing/ stealing items. I called the Rochester store back and spoke to the same guy, explaining that the fault was with their store. He then said, “I can assure you, I supervised the order and it left us correct.” I emphasised that it couldn’t be the case as the drivers bag was empty after delivering our order, plus they messed up with the cookie doughs. He responded with “Well, I can assure you that the order left us correctly!” Rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. We will never use this store again. In fact, I’d think twice about visiting any Pizza Huts from now on. There are plenty of much better alternatives out there. Uber thankfully was a lot more helpful and refunded us the difference. Reading some of the other reviews, it makes me wonder if Pizza Hut, Rochester are running a scam, claiming to send completed orders out, but knowing full well that Uber will help with refunds for...

Where do I begin? First of all if you are thinking about ordering from this Pizza Hut - do not. Unless everyone takes this advice and then they won’t be overhauling pizza and may be able to serve you something on time.

We ordered pizza at 18:00, given an estimated delivery time of 40 minutes. Once an hour had passed we rang the store. We were told our pizzas had come out of the oven and they would be sent out next and should expect it soon.

Another 45 minutes pass and no pizza, we ring, we are assured the pizzas are on their way and will be warm. The staff made no apology for the delay but that we should expect this on a Friday.

10 minutes later the pizza arrives. Cold. The chicken is soggy. The nachos are soggy. The cheese curdled, the sauce congealed. More snap in my back in the morning than on those Doritos. The pizzas were greasy, they had no taste, and generally not worth the money at all.

We rang once more to ask for them to send a fresh order and we’re told we would need to wait another hour. This would have meant the pizza would not have arrived until 3 hours after order.

Anyway, in summary, bad quality pizza, bad service, bad timings. You could probably make a pizza from scratch in the time it takes to get one from here. Or travel to Italy, you’d probably still get a pizza sooner.
