I've been to Pizza Express Beverley a couple of times now. Both times have been amazing!
There is an accessible entrance round the back, an accessible toilet and the downstairs is flat. Sadly, there's no wheelchair access to the upstairs due to the age of the building.
The staff seem very aware and accommodating to those with additional needs and hidden disabilities. The staff were patient, explained everything clearly and kept checking on me.
The food and drink was fantastic, same as in Hull. The chefs here are good! Generous amount of garlic oil made my day. I got a margarita with lots of garlic oil, dough balls, oat hot chocolate + Cheesecake dolcetti and a jungle juice. For the jungle juice, you might have to ask Graig. It's something he brought with him from a previous pizza express site.
I have to declare, I know Graig, one of the managers, well as he used to be at the Hull site and has served me a lot. His service was as Fantastic as ever.
Would definitely recommend visiting. If you have additional needs, in particular can't handle busy places, I'd recommend calling first. The manager will then find the best way and time for you to come. It can get really busy at times, especially on a Saturday night...
Read moreIt's a few years since we were last at this particular restaurant and unfortunately the reason remains the same. The service was average and indifferent. Firstly it was very slow though staff appeared to have time to be checking their mobiles.
Secondly , one of the waiter's was boarding on rude when our main course finally arrived. He completely disregarded the observation that certain requested items to be left of the pizza were still on. The lasagne was worse than average. Lacking flavour, colour and substance it was clearly delivered frozen and probably from a supermarket supplier. At least in a supermarket its a 'value' price and not restaurant prices. On a positive this was deducted from the bill but due to the slow food service the offer of something different just felt like dragging out the dining experience longer than we liked. It's a shame because the restaurant is ideally located and laid out. There are much better options in...
Read moreIt's quite a while since we have visited last. It was busy even at threeish when we went in. We hadn't booked but were fortunate to be given a table in the corner. Thank you. Not much has changed over the years. I would dare to say it's actually looking a bit dated. The starter of bruschetta was tasty £6.75. I I had the "Burnt Ends" pizza which is a new option and is BBQ beef which I thoroughly enjoyed ( just short of £15) and my wife had the 600 calories pizza version which has the centre cut out of the pizza and replaced by salad? When you include a bottle of merlot it's not the cheapest meal out. Hey ho! 😄 Staff were attentive and very friendly so all in all we had a...
