Popadoms — Restaurant in England

We got chicken dansak and chicken dupiaza. Dupiaza was fine but a little bland for me and the large onion pieces didn't seem very well fried so I was a little disappointed. The dansak was untypical and wasn't very fruity or spicy but it was tasty. The chicken was excellent in both meals to be fair.

Rice's were as expected for pilau and mushroom pilau, tasty and not greasy.

The poppadoms were a little too salty for our personal taste however the pashwari naan was excellent, one of the best takeaway naans we have had in the town.

After eleven months trying eleven different Indian restaurants in the town Popadoms came out on top for food, atmosphere and friendlyness of their staff. Even on our second visit with our group of seventeen sitting round the table, everything came out together and was piping hot. Nothing was a problem for the waiter and waitress or the kitchen staff who made our evening go without a hitch. You can bring your own drinks and they were served without a hitch too. Have to say this place is the dogs danglies. Had it 3 times now and every time has been as good if not better than the last. Dupiaza, Madras, Mossala, Shashlik, Balti, Rogan Josh, Biryani, all as good as you'll get. I'll be travelling from Billingham every time. This has beaten:
