KFC Hartlepool - Marina Way — Restaurant in Great Britain

First off, I stood for 5 mins (only person there by the way) while 2 lads just chatted away in the kitchen about a car or something, it took the manager to come out and tell them to serve me before they did.

Put my order in and they went back to the chat, slides my food down the serving bit (still just me there) and carries yapping on for 5 mins b4 walking round to give it to me.

Now I'm a big fan of kfc but this experience has turned me, I opened it up to find a fillet burger that looked half eaten, no mayo, no salad, just the "burger" and burnt, hard bread roll, I tried to bite it TWICE and could not chew the thing!!

At least I had chips right? Well the chips were so overcooked they physically hurt to eat them!

One last saviour I thought.....my corn on the cob,

Except in the box was a tub of gravy even tho I expressed I wanted corn to him twice.

Team this with the rats around the overflowing bins outside and the 100s of seagulls fighting over them then this place should be...

Just had the 6 peice 4 fries offer went in at about 8 30pm paid 6 99 instead off 14 pounds because off the 50% off It was diabolical I wouldn't have given it to my dog , chios cold , chicken not only as dry as uck but super super dark brown , needless to say I said I wanted better than that the manager said the chicken was super brown because the oil needed changing and if I wasn't happy have a refund , I explained I didn't want a refund. So I was told to come back in 20 minutes to which I did, I received better chicken but it wasn't fresh it was properly the next tray along but out off cross awkwardness I got told it would be 20 minutes. I got better chicken and good peices nothing scrawny and I got fresh hot chips, is it really that hard to serve people decent food they have paid for.

First impression of this place....filthy! One table was clean(ish) in the whole restaurant and I still had to clear the previous customers waste from it before we could sit down! Service was slow as the staff were more than happy to discuss their friends love life. Every customer that entered was surprised by the amount of rubbish all over the floor. The guy that appeared to be the manager seemed non-plussed that the place was a mess and spent his break enjoying his food and talking to one of his friends that had came in. At one point a female member of staff did appear at the counter door carrying a brush and pan but then decided the floor didn't require sweeping so left it.
