I was back in the UK 2 weeks ago, on my last Monday we went to the Princess Garden for dinner, we had tried calling to book but had a problem with our phones and we couldn't get through. However as we were flying out the following day we thought we would go early and wouldn't have a problem! We got there at 6.30pm and the restaurant was packed! The girl on the desk at entry was lovely! Spoke to her manager who asked if we would mind having a small table,we said that wouldn't be a problem. They asked if we would mind having a drink in the bar while they got the table ready. They promptly bought out prawn crackers for us to have with our drinks while they prepared the table. Another larger table left earlier than expected and as this was a larger table they quickly prepared the table for us. The service was fabulous! The food delicious! Have to say we had been back in the UK for 6 weeks and my husband had said he wanted to go for a Chinese sit in meal before we left, hence this was our last night! I wish it had been our first as we would have been every week that we were home! Fantastic service! Delicious food! Dreaming of next year when I will be back on holiday! Thank you for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family and I enjoyed a lovely Monday night at Princess Gardens this week. As it was all you can eat we all enjoyed soup (my wan ton soup was particularly nice) and appetisers. We were encouraged to order out appetisers when we ordered soup, however they were not prepared until we had all had our fill (this is a lovely touch). When they arrived all together on one plate everyone at the table was amazed at the amount of food that we had available to eat (so much that we were all quite full before our main courses). The reason for the four star rating rather than five was that the mains didnāt quite live up to the quality of the appetisers. My chicken satay didnāt actually taste that peanutty and my wife didnāt really enjoy her main at all. Service was fantastic throughout and all the staff were constantly working and checking on customers, plates were taken away as soon as it was appropriate to do so. We had a small issue with the bill (we have a tall 11 year old and they assumed that she was older) but this was resolved without fuss. We will definitely be returning in the near future to give the mains...

They are, I think, having a licencing issue. So for now NO alcohol can be served. That's fine they still have plenty soft drinks and I believe they were allowing people to take their own drinks in?
The food and service from start to finish was amazing. The food was at times was too hot to eat which is amazing.
We were early and asked to wait but we were given prawn crackers. We waited a little past our reservation time but we were kept informed and more than happy to wait on our first visit.
The lady (presumably manager) seemed a bit abrupt at first. But I work in the hospitality industry and realised that was stress (probably from a rude customer who thought they deserved more for the pennies they were paying) but she was actually adorable
All in all I will return. Probably time and time again and be the size of a house end by 2026
Thank you princess garden. You did...
