Popped in for a quick pit stop today. First impressions - bright, airy and spacious. Choice of toasties, soups, sandwiches etc. We had an epic bacon roll and a bacon/cheese scone. Both were delicious. Service was good and food brought to the table within 10 minutes. Free iced water on the counter to help yourself was a nice touch. We will be back!

Our first time in the cafe with its new owners. Service was excellent and the covid screens meant we felt safe and well distanced. The food was outstanding - try the delicious breakfast scone (with bacon, sausage pattie and a fried egg); a revelation!

We are fairly regular customers who live about 45 minutes away and pop in when we can. Consistently excellent and the Croque Monsieur is a total indulgence. Chocolate Tiffin is amazing. Scones great. Spacious, but lacking in ambience. Staff ranged from super friendly to snotty. Everyone raves about scones which were ok. Though I didn’t have the cheese one and that did look a lot better than my plain scone. Coffee ok. Nothing to get excited...
