Outstanding geographical location yet the cafe fell short of our expectations following visiting the Abbey. We were seated quickly but not given a menu until some time later after we had decided to order from the specials board instead. After deciding on our order from the full menu, we overhead from another table that they were not serving any sandwiches or hot food.

Another 10 minutes pass and our waiter informed us there were no scones, with no option given for a refund. We then looked at the menu again, we could only order cake and drinks. Both of which were subpar at best.
Highly recommend visiting the Abbey, but we will be going elsewhere for...

Food and drinks were served in a quick turnaround and to a high standard. The staff are to be commended. Always a pleasure to find such a treasure. It's not a cheap place, but there's no problem paying for quality. Tasty sandwiches,...
