Not surprised this place has such great ratings.I was in the area for the day and decided to get a tattoo, within an hour I was sat with Joni who was so friendly and really listened to what I envisioned for my first proper tattoo He made sure I was completely comfortable and despite being really nervous, I was really calm once it came down to getting the tattoo done. It was done incredibly well and you can really tell how talented he is and he really cares. It was also was really reasonably priced for such a custom piece. I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone who is considering getting a tattoo done in the area. I looked at a few of the other places who offer walk ins but they didn’t seem as professional or caring. Even without the tattoo, it’s a great place to go for a coffee, the girls behind the counter were really friendly and lovely. I really hope this place is still thriving when I return to...

Can’t recommend highly enough - we ended up here almost by accident and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Joe’s has the warmest, coolest atmosphere which is what brought us in in the first place, and DJ and all the staff couldn’t have been lovier or more kind and helpful. We were looking for a walk in tattoo and Louis was incredibly patient with us and the dodgy photograph of a random rock we provided him with. The line work was incredibly fine and detailed and he was amazingly committed to turning it into something that we were thrilled with, and taking the time to get it just right. We also thought it was exceptionally reasonably priced. The whole experience was fun, memorable and super comfortable, and the smoothies, coffee and cake also banged. Excellent coffee, they ran out of caramel syrup my first time entering and they happily agreed to using caramel sauce for my iced coffee. That really made my day.

Booked a tattoo rescue with Joni Smith in desperate hopes to fix my shin tattoo. Joni handled this incredibly well, it was a large just healed heavy blown out peice (from another artist). Joni managed to salvage the tattoo by free handing on the tattoo to give it more detail, cover up previous artists mistakes and enhance my tattoo to look like what I wanted in the first place. I have learnt my lesson now, cheap tattoos arent good and good tattoo's arent cheap (but worth it, Joni is very affordable). Great atmosphere, felt at home, conversation flowed.
