Just had the worst visit, I am visiting from London and went to buy some goodies for the family and was a bit surprised at the service from the man that served me, no smiles or chat as I was trying to gain some small talk. Oh well. Went back later as I had realised I had more people to purchase some sweets for and could not believe the service I received I paid with my contactless bank card and asked for my receipt, the "lady" pushed the button to print me one and said for me in the future to remember no receipts are printed for contactless payments. This was the first time I had ever been informed of this and also I was to leave the shop with nothing to tell me of what prices I had paid for any of my purchase's or a record for my accountant. I will be informing my bank as in every shop I have shopped in Newquay this far I have a receipt...    Read moreHaven't been to Newquay for a while as I live St.Austell, but was pleasantly surprised to find this kind of shop as the Premier shop near us in Par recently changed hands and stopped selling their American products. So I managed to get the contacts that the shop near us had and passed them on to The Cornish Sweet Shop. And they welcomed the idea, as I mentioned it was a very profitable thing to do even in a sleepy village, so its bound to do well in Newquay. Plus I will hopefully get the chance to buy my favourite Herrs crisps. Win Win all round...
