We stayed in West Bay for a week and this wonderful harbour side hut made us wish we could have stayed longer! Everything served here is as fresh as fresh can be and the menu is updated daily. The fish tacos were simultaneously delicate yet bold in flavour. The grilled scallops were so fresh they needed only the slightest hint of garlic butter to bring out the rich taste of the sea. The Keralan fish curry was beautifully cooked “just done”, with the perfect balance of exotic spices, fragrant coriander and creamy coconut. Even the batter on the fish and chips was delightfully light and so very crispy. The lightness of touch shows a great respect for the quality and freshness of their ingredients and we were repeatedly impressed by this tiny yet capable kitchen. Outstanding seafood, clearly a level above the surrounding competition. We had some of the best fish and chips in the country; light, super thin batter that breaks like glass with skin on chips that crunched and snapped; a seafood platter that could have been a little more generous (an oyster or two perhaps?) but was exquisite in freshness and presentation and the star of the show: three crunchy, perfectly executed fish tacos I could have had 9 of. Tables and surroundings could’ve been kept a bit cleaner which might have also helped with the abundance of wasps that wouldn’t leave us alone. The food here more than makes up for all...

Incredible. I was lost for words. My expectations were already high from the photos I saw by previous reviews and me and my girlfriend absolutely needed to drive down and of course it was well worth the drive. Greeted by friendly family run kitchen in a beautiful area by the harbour we were seated and presented with one of the best looking meals I’ve had for years I’m so glad we made the trip. Delicious fresh fish all wonderfully presented. All I can say is cancel your plans anywhere else and head down immediately and you won’t be disappointed:) if I lived closer by I would eat here as much as I can. Thank you so much...
