Authentic Taste, Warm Hospitality!
We had a wonderful dining experience at Sadhya in Wellingborough. The food was absolutely delicious — truly authentic South Indian flavours that reminded us of home.
We ordered porotta, chicken porichathu, set dosa, fried rice, chilli chicken, mutton roast, and butter chicken. Every dish was full of authentic South Indian flavour. The porotta was soft and paired perfectly with the spicy mutton roast. The chicken porichathu was crispy and well-seasoned, and the chilli chicken had the perfect level of spice. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, and even the fried rice was flavourful. The dosa was crisp and perfectly made, the sambar and chutneys were full of flavour, and the Kerala-style meals were rich in tradition and taste.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The ambience was simple but clean and inviting — great for both families and casual dining. Prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes.

Read moreThey keep it very authentic to their southern roots. The Dosa is some of the best I have ever had. (The hot sauce could have been a little hotter since you do a light masala option too)
The Lamb curry was slightly over salted and became moorish but still quite well balanced on spices.
The Malabar curries were incredible, the meat was still moist and you could tell it was freshly prepared. Incredible balance of flavours/spices.
The Squid Fry was a great “street food” addition.
I called for assistance and the man on the other end was passionate and gave a transparent overview of the menu.
The Indian options around the Wellingborough area are primarily northern style dishes and all lack any elegance very box standard “ruby” brit dishes and cheap produce.
This place has flair and is passionate about spreading their flavours and cuisine to us.
We are lucky to have them...
Read moreI recently had the best birthday meal experience at Sadhya Restaurant. The chef at Sadhya was able to cater to a myriad of dietary and allergy requirements.
The food at Sadhya was simply AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend the Pepper Lamb starter, Special Malabar Chicken & Vegetable Biriyani. The Fried masala fish in banana leaf and the Sameya Paaysam were scrumptious!. The portions were generous and the presentation was excellent. It was truly an authentic Kerala Cuisine experience.
The Owner Prasanth and his staff were so accomodating and went above and beyond the call of duty. This is easily one of the best Kerala restuarants we've eaten at in the UK. As such, everyone I have recommended to Sadhya have become regulars. I cannot recommend this...
