Almost all of the negative comments I have read were pretty much spot on so clearly nothing has changed and they seem to see no reason to change?
In this instance I chose really simply, Chicken Madras, Saag Aloo and Pilau Rice. Madras was more like a vindaloo and very basic at that, Saag and rice ok (which for the price is the absolute least you would expect) as commented before, crazy small chunks of chicken and tons of sauce! Presumably to save costs?
Look…it’s great to have a curry house in a small town so I’m grateful for that but to charge what they do for very average food in a restaurant that hasn’t been decorated since the 80’s is just not...

On viewing the menu, outside the restaurant, I thought the food was expensive, then I noticed a handwritten note on the door saying to add another 20 percent to the shown prices for eating in " to cover rise in inflation" Also that the discount in prices for takeaway food had been removed, increasing the price of a takeaway by 20 percent. Needles to say we didn't bother going in, we always leave a 10 percent tip whenever we eat out, but to demand an extra 20 percent up front is just greedy , that probably explains why the place was completely empty. Won't bother looking to go...
Read moreThe staff were amazing, very friendly and efficient. BYOB really keeps the cost down which is wonderful to not pay high restaurant prices. Sadly the food did not live up to our expectations from previous reviews. I think the food is brought in pre-cooked as no aroma of cooking and spices that is usually in an Indian restaurant. As other reviewers said, a lot of sauce and very little meat. My chicken balti was not like any I have had before, quite a dense dark coloured sauce and my husband's Rogan josh was more of a BBQ sauce/flavour? Rice and nan were good but for the price per portion I would expect that at...
