This place is a hidden gem. We were going to get fish and chips nearby but there was a long queue so we wandered up the road and found this amazing place. Warm and welcoming and comfortable.

My wife and I both had the scampi and home cut chips with salad and garden peas. When it arrived I was surprised at the portion size, it was a large portion! Very good value for money: around £23 for both of us with two glasses of diet coke too.

The food was totally delicious, scampi cooked to perfection. No soggy breadcrumbs here, and no dried up scampi either, just perfectly cooked. The homemade chips were also really tasty. Don't know if we will be back to Pateley Bridge again anytime soon but would love to try more of their menu here if we do.

Last, but not least, the service was really nice too. Very friendly and helpful. 11 out...

We had a great 4 night stay with Margaret and her team. She looked after us extremely well, nothing was too much trouble for her or her staff, they were all friendly and the service was excellent. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit salad, lovely local yoghurts, cereals, 4 options for a hot breakfast (full English (superb), scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, poached eggs on toast, pancakes and syrup), toast and marmalade and jam, tea or coffee. The room was very comfortable with all you need (WiFi, TV, tea/coffeemaking facilities, mini fridge and ensuite bathroom). The location was excellent, less than 100 metres from the High Street with it's amazing selection of local shops, 2 pubs, fish and chip shop, pizza takeaway and small supermarket. A lovely place to stay in a beautiful small town in a stunning part...

I googled places to eat in Pately Bridge and Im glad I did as I found this little gem. It was like walking into someone's front room on entering the cafe. The couple on the next table were just recieving their dinner steak pie and it looked delicious.I asked them if it tasted as good as it looked they said it was, so we promptly ordered two portions and we weren't disappointed. It was served with either chips or new potatoes, garden or mushy peas plus a rich brown gravy. The meat was melt in the mouth and was just so tasty. Thinking that we couldn't possibly eat another thing, we had a piece each of coffee and walnut cake with a cup of tea and coffee which was just as good. The service from a lovely lady was excellent. We would definitely go again if we came to Pately...

The food was very very tasty, and the waitress was really pleasant. I would say however that I felt slightly uncomfortable talking over dinner with my friend as another couple sat very close by and you could hear each other’s tables very clearly despite talking quietly. I think music may have helped not make the conversations stand out like a sore thumb. Maybe it was a one off and normally they play background music. Would also say the cheapest thing to get off the menu for dinner isn’t as affordable as I thought it would be. But I appreciate the food is all fresh and probably sourced from local farms etc. Again good food and service.

Nice small tea room, tucked away in an alleyway. Pleasant staff, friendly service. Food a good standard and a nice cuppa. Prices are very reasonable, not very big inside but comfortable enough. Good choice on the menu and someone had a takeaway sandwich whilst we eat in. The giant Yorkshire pudding filled with meat looked great, it was dinner plate size, so really is a giant. I had a bacon sandwich, the wife had cream tea. Couldn't find anything to complain about. Give it a visit, I think you'll be happy enough.

Beautiful little place, we had breakfast here at the weekend and they were so accommodating, friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. The food was excellent all round and I would highly recommend the all day breakfast. They have high chairs available if you have a little one with you. We also left with two very chunky and very tasty flapjack. This is my new 'go to' place in Pateley Bridge. To top it all off, they are also dog friendly.
