I visited today with my family, I have never in my life been made to feel so uncomfortable. First point of contact I ordered food and drink via the app, when my drink arrived I kindly pointed out that my order was incorrect only to be told - that's what I had ordered. My order on the app said differently, the colleague ( I presume must of been a supervisor or a member of management from her attire, she had pastel blue hair, short in stature) she looked at me as though I had two heads and from this point she took a dislike to me. Meals arrived, all was well until we had to remove our empty place 20 minutes after we had finished as they was in our way - all whilst various members of staff walking around chatting and neglecting to see our empty plates. My husband ordered puddings, again the order was incorrect. We ordered 1 child’s pudding and two arrived, we was a little confused thinking they had maybe they had mixed up the order and forget to pop my dessert through. The waitresses went to go get my dessert, but the (supervisor) returned instead and popped my dessert on the table and walked back to the bar where the waitress was and showed her the spoon that she had accidentally forgotten to leave me - giggling to one another. She then walked back over to me and said sarcastically “ooopps I had forgotten to leave your spoon” I’ve never felt so belittled, if you’re that miserable and bored in your chosen career that you feel the need to bully and belittle your customers - I pity you and the staff who have to work under you. Read moreWhere to start... We went with a party of 7 and ordered through the app. When we received our food several items were missing from the orders. The burgers were meant to be served with onion rings when we quieried it that's when they told us that they had supply issues so they didn't have any. We also ordered eggs with our steaks which didn't come either, when questioned about that they said they served the last eggs to another table. None of these missing items were mentioned to us when we were ordering only when we asked they told us they didn't have them. Even on the app they should make us aware that they don't have items you are paying for. The fact they took our money without stating some of the items aren't available is not on. As we payed through the app we didn't get any refund on these, they only brought us 4 small garlic bread pieces to compensate for a party of 7! We ordered medium rare and rare steaks which both came well done. One of the burgers was charred black we had to ask for a replacement as was unedible. The glasses were dirty, seemed like dishwasher dirt dried on them. Read morewill i go back ? yes i will its nice , staff are lovely and easy to get on, food was spot on (well what we got of it ) however the food i can honestly say was perfect......the lost star was because we had ordered 2 starters yet our mains turned up to be fair to the guys there there was a confusion because we had ordered on the app im sure if i had ordered at the till then starters would have been starters, so as the mains had arrived they lovely lady said she would go get the sides/starters. sadly she returned empty handed stating our sides had gone to another table and they had begun to eat it, now to give the guys credit she did say she was off to get the chef straight on some new 1s which if im honest was fair. so considering we had intended they missing bits as a starter we was offered a refund AND we got a 2 free beers which been honest was absoloutely perfect and as it goes the right way to deal with it. its easy to get pissy in these scenarios and im not 1 to be shy about bad service but they was spot on. on this occasion an honest mistake by staff to dishonest customers who know they aint ordered. the only down side was the refund which im guessing is a company issue as it didnt go back in the account as fast as it came out. all in all great food great people and nice place...
