I have to say it’s very disappointing that I have to review a two star. I’ve been here a few times over the past few years when I come back and visit family for occasions and we have always had an amazing time this time sadly was not great at all. we always do the bottomless brunch as it’s the best value and the cocktail and food is normally amazing quality When I come to booking list this time I noticed the price had gone up like everything I did didn’t really mind too much because I knew I was gonna have good service and good food and drinks. We were going for people’s birthdays and there was one person who did not want to do a bottomless brunch out of seven of us. I tried calling several times before to see if this would be okay. I couldn’t see a problem being if they’re ordering off the main menu technically they’re going to be paying more but eating less and drinking less as they’ll be paying per item instead of the rest of us having it unlimited there was a big issue over this to the point we was not going to go there we even got told we could sit in the main restaurant and order off the main menu which defeated the object of the bottomless brunch. In the end. The owner said the person could have chips. We decided to stay and do the bottoms branches and the one person tap chips the place was not that busy and the service was a little bit slow there was no music no atmosphere. The food was great. The drinks were not the same as before there was no garnishing they were in random glasses and we had to keep calling over even though there was empty glasses on the table towards the end, I did mention it to a couple of the staff and I also wrote a list of my recommendations and comments as I do a lot of bottom branches when I go places and it’s such a shame as Hereford doesn’t have a lot of places what do them and this place is missing a trick if they were to do it correct they would be packed out all the time and people then would come not just for the bottomless brunch but for drinks food and intern pay more money. What are you still love about? This place was the individuality it wasn’t just like a part of a chain they would help as much as they could and give the best of service and it was different whereas now I find it’s gone...

A lunchtime first for us on a family visit to Hereford. Known Saxtys for many years and visited a fair number of times, but not with the family or for lunch. What a great experience!

Tempted in by the intelligent use of an 'A' board outside (rather than the now heavily relied on social media that some of us don't use), we were greeted and looked after brilliantly by Jo throughout.

The place was clean, tidy and inviting. The service was nothing short of perfect for us and the food; quality, volume and price were all spot on. The children's meals were free with our own, a lovely selection on their menu and the main menu, all polished off and thoroughly enjoyed which says a lot given the usual preferences to eating!

Nice to see Hawkstone on draught which I thoroughly enjoyed (although normally a Ludlow or Wye Valley ale man), being my first experience of it on draught.

Really impressed and we will be making sure of lunch time revisits from here on in.

No happy at all !! Pre booked our table of ten and when we arrived staff was not sure where we were seated. When seated waitress said it was table service for drinks but staff never asked once until we asked them 20 minutes later. Food came 1hr 15 min later after lots of asking.waitress reply was that the kitchen was very busy. Excuse me remember pre booked 🤔but then we still had to ask for salt, pepper etc. food wasn’t the best but ate some due to being hungry. Flat bread was burnt, bones in cod loin, spinach was missing and no flavour to the potatoes. Chips were disgusting burgers were not the best. One main didn’t even arrive at the table. To top it off there was a fly in my friends cocktail. Then when we asked to pay ( begrudgingly) it was another 15-20 for card machine and it wasn’t even busy. I guess staff were to busy standing around chatting. Complete utter disaster !! Never will I be recommending for anyone to go there. It looks like were not the only ones to complain after spreading the word about our amazing...
