Shabbir's is a clean and tidy establishment with a welcoming atmosphere. The sitting area is a bit tight, which might feel a little cramped, especially during busy times. However, the customer service is excellent, with staff being attentive and friendly, which adds to the overall positive experience. As for the food, it was fairly average. While not disappointing, it didn't stand out in terms of flavor or presentation. The karak chai, which is often a highlight in places like these, was also underwhelming, lacking the bold, rich taste that one might expect from a traditional cup. Had a late night craving for biryani, tandoori and chicken kadhai. The taste reminded me of the food that i get back at home in india. The guy who got our order, sorry forgot his name, was very jovial and patient with our confusion of what to order. The wait was quite some time, but given they prepare their food fresh it's hardly a deal breaker. When the food came out it was amazing. The chicken curry was superb and was finished in no time. The biryani though not very authentic, as in dum biryani, was very tasty and made the foodie in me very happy. First time trying this place and I have to say I can not recommend! Firstly the food was delayed and arrived late which wouldn’t of been a problem - if it was cooked! We ordered the platter for 4 which upon arrival looked anything but appetising upon further inspection we found that pieces of shish were RAW throughout the middle… I wish I could end it here however see images below of the dangerous piece of metal we found hidden in the shish.
