The Phipps — Restaurant in England

Went to table to look at menu was some xmas lights cable not put up against wall so was laying across floor I fell on it ,got helped up by a customer and that night couldnt move got bruised ribs and cut knee leg hurts and bar staff never came to see if I was ok when manager come in only girl behind bar while taking money said u ok I should get that wire moved ,not even offered a bit of meal will be telling people to be careful in there I'm 74 years old and now today I'm in bed cant move as ribs killing me Mrs...

We go here all the time and we have our favourite seats! Very friendly staff and a very wide range of drinks to chose from. They do an excellent burger (we like the Dirty Phipps - bacon, cheese and peanut butter!) This is also an excellent place to watch sport with lots of big screens dotted around. Also if it isn't too busy and you ask really nicely they will often change channel on one of the TVs for you. I am not keen on the weekend DJ but that is probably more down to my own...

Been okay when we’ve been in before but we went to go in last night, was suppose to be our first pup on our crawl and the bouncer turned 4 of us away because one of us grabbed their ID back too firmly…. Yes 4 girls not even had a drink yet and that was the excuse. I’m guessing the pub won’t care as bouncers do what they want but he needs to get down off his high horse.
