Came here with a group of work colleagues on a Tuesday evening. Although I live locally I haven't been in for a few years, but have always enjoyed their food. I got the lost boy burger which was 'stuffed with garlic and cheese' Although the burger was not overcooked and was still juicy in the middle, I think the 'stuffing' had come out of the sides as there was a lot of cheese on the side of the burger, and not much of a garlic taste. Was still a really good burger though, and served in a really nice pretzel bun. I asked to upgrade to the handmade fries but when the burger was served it only had the standard fries. Before I could even say anything, the waitress apologised for the mix-up and said she'd bring out some handmade fries (Impressive server!) I got the benefit of trying both types of fries, and although the handmade fries were really lovely, their standard fries were also very good and much better than fries at other restaurants. Service was great throughout the whole meal and all my colleagues also enjoyed their food. Would definitely come back in future.

Me and my partner visited Knaresborough for the 1st time on Sunday (25/06). We needed to find somewhere to eat and with my partner having a milk and gluten intolerance it's quite hard to find a place to eat. We googled and we came across this place! It was only a 10 minute walk from the waterside so off we went. He asked for a gluten free menu and was so surprised at how big the menu was! Nearly everything on the normal menu was gluten free! It was so nice that we could actually share starters! He got the Yorkshire wrap and said the beef was mouthwatering! Haha I got the cajun chicken melt! The Korean chicken balls were beaut too! We are so sad that we live an hour and a half away! But tbh if we lived closer we would be fat and skint haha keep doing what you are doing guys! Amazing food, service and pub! We will be back soon!

Simply wonderful. Was so hard finding a place that served food before 5pm, so this place was a great find. They had an entire menu for gluten free. I was in awe. I've never seen such an array of foods just for gluten free. I had a gluten naked burger and it was delicious, but I could've had gluten free buns with it, but it was nice with the lettuce. The gluten free onion rings were absolutely amazing. My family had regular and enjoyed every bite. There seemed to be a lot of space inside and its so close to parking areas and busses, and the service was fast, polite, and so well informed. We didn't try pudding because we were too full but we'll be definitely going back

Average Food, amazing interiors and great location ! As we went yesterday, one of the hottest days of the year, the place has no ventilation and absolutely no way of comforting the customers during the hot months .. We had to get up after appetizers, because this place was unbearable.. The table was sloppily cleaned even after asking the staff again It's a 5 min walk from the station and is located in the heart of the city centre. Their Vegan Wings and Persian Toastie was amazing, however the other food items weren't that great . The Tap Beer was decent ! I had more expectations from this place.
